Qiangwei serves as captain of the Super Gene Squad. During the Liangshan operation against Sun Wukong, she assigns her teammates combat roles and prioritizes the larger mission over impulsively retaliating against him. Her restraint draws criticism from Qilin, but reflects her command-focused approach 53 56.

Lin Ye targets Qiangwei because her Space-Time Gene, jointly created by Morgana and Karl, can advance his wormhole technology. Their first encounter becomes hostile when he directly asks for her gene; Qiangwei interprets the request as offensive and attempts to exile him through wormholes, only for him to walk out of them unharmed 55 56.

After witnessing Lin Ye's overwhelming strength against Sun Wukong, Qiangwei offers her Space-Time Gene in exchange for his protection of Huaguo.
