Background

Tang San awakened with Innate Full Soul Power in Holy Soul Village. His primary Martial Soul became the Blue Silver Flower after Ye Xian altered the awakening event; despite its changed form, Su Yuntao still judged it a weak Martial Soul. Tang San also possessed a second Martial Soul, initially recognized as the Clear Sky Hammer. 1 2 3

Tang Hao ordered Tang San to keep his second Martial Soul secret. When Tang San later revealed it to Yu Xiaogang, its form had changed into the pointed, hammer-aura-bearing Clear Sky Bamboo Shoot, leaving both Tang San and Yu Xiaogang confused. 3 8 9

At Notting Academy, Tang San sought Yu Xiaogang's instruction with unusual earnestness, kneeling and asking to become his son. Yu Xiaogang accepted him as a godson and gave him the nickname “Yu Xiaosan.” 5 8 Tang Hao later entrusted Tang San's care to Yu Xiaogang before leaving. 20
