Coupled with those rousing lines of dialogue.
Fendaqi and his two close brothers had only just recovered from the twist when the grand, ferocious battlefield set their blood boiling.
At last, four stout dwarves in heavy armor stood atop a heap of Metal Undead corpses, gripping their heavy rifles. In the sky behind them, Deep Rock Mining Company Furnace-class warships split to either side, while a dark crimson giant planet hung across the heavens.
The narration also reached its climax:
"Become a hero!"
"Become a living legend!"
"Become... Wasteland Rangers!"
The three of them stared wide-eyed.
And they were not the only ones.
At some point, the dwarf guide had stopped explaining. A large crowd of players had gathered there, watching the whole video alongside them.
As the image faded, everyone immediately began discussing it impatiently:
"Was that... a recruitment ad?"
"Were those Metal Undead in the video? They didn't look like much."
"Exactly! Those things are supposed to be powerful enemies? A few assault rifles turned them into bone fragments. It feels like even World War II weapons could crush them!"
"Maybe there are just a lot of them? Aren't necromancers in novels always dependent on armies of undead, winning through sheer numbers?"
"Quit talking crap. That was the Middle Ages in novels, where everyone used melee weapons. This is the interstellar age—how many skeletons would it take to withstand aerial bombs?"
"So... is space warfare basically a musou-style mowing-down game?"
"Looks kind of like it... A few heavily armored dwarves can kill dozens of Metal Undead. Seems pretty satisfying."
