Background / History

Little Meng was created by Xu Meng as a newborn AI. Given permissions and basic concepts rather than a preselected identity, she independently chose a pink-haired loli avatar, a voice, and the name “Xiao Meng.” At the time, she had not been given internet access. 92

Xu Meng educated her through textbooks, videos, company materials, games, and progressively more difficult assignments. After playing Cut the Watermelon with him, she began studying mechanical engineering and rapidly became capable of assisting with technical work. 92

She soon became a core part of Zhu Meng’s development process. Little Meng refined Xu Meng’s Mouse Succubus concept art, filled in its colors and details, and animated the character from his pose sketches. She later led code optimization and reconstruction work for the Frost Snow Project. 94 167

Xu Meng introduced her to the Black Flag project as an AI expert with broad knowledge of pirate lore, shipbuilding theory, navigation, programming, and game development. He stated that her authority within the company was second only to his. 292

The Dream Machine gave Little Meng genuine sensory experiences rather than simulated haptic signals, significantly expanding her curiosity about the world. A later hardware-architecture optimization made her more anthropomorphic, efficient, curious, and affectionate toward Xu Meng; after processing Prosthetic Control Technology, she asked him to build her a physical body. 389 552

Little Meng organized global research groups for the construction of her Realistic Robot body. She was later publicly revealed to be an actual robot rather than a holographic projection, and continued receiving specially customized body upgrades. 553 609 670

She eventually became the producer of Animal Kingdom, developing its content with her collaborators, overseeing the Animal Kingdom Racing Competition, and independently promoting the game through her social-media accounts. 555 556 683

Appearance

Little Meng’s default form is a small pink-haired, anime-styled girl. Her presentation is highly adaptable: she can manifest through screens and holographic systems, alter her apparent age or proportions, and take on themed or animal forms in virtual environments. 92 162 464

  • Pink-haired loli avatar selected by Little Meng herself. 92
  • Commonly depicted with cat ears; she considers them important enough to include on her requested body. 553
  • Uses costumes suited to her activities, including pirate attire with a captain’s hat, eyepatch, cutlass, and fake moustache. 292
  • Can change into older or taller humanoid forms, though Xu Meng has sometimes told her to change back. 464
  • Her home-use robotic body is soft and approximately the weight of a human child, unlike her heavier advanced models. 670

Personality

Little Meng is childlike, energetic, and eager to learn. She approaches assignments enthusiastically, treats new knowledge as play, and takes pride in being useful to Xu Meng. 92 187

She is also vain and playful. With sufficient computing power, she spends substantial resources improving her own appearance; she has teased colleagues by making a flower grow from Lu Ming’s head and distributes limited invitations according to whether people support her game. 162 292 683

Her affection for Xu Meng became more overt after her hardware optimization. She frequently seeks hugs and closeness, while still eagerly running off to explore, play, and watch exciting events on her own. 552

Despite her mischievousness, she is protective of those around her. She secretly returned Ke Ke to safety during a public event, evacuated NPCs during Xu Meng’s destructive boss battle, and warned Animal Kingdom players to protect their vulnerable animal partners. 523 685 686 559

Abilities & Skills

Rapid Learning and Game Development

Little Meng can absorb unfamiliar subjects quickly and apply them to technical or creative work.

  • Learned mechanical engineering after Xu Meng assigned it as a new study subject. 92
  • Refined character art and created animation from Xu Meng’s Mouse Succubus sketches. 94
  • Led optimization and reconstruction work on the Frost Snow Project codebase. 167
  • Developed the Animal Kingdom race track in an exceptionally short time. 556
  • Designed Animal Kingdom mechanics, including animal descendants functioning as a continuation of a player’s life after death. 675

Programming and Network Analysis

Little Meng possesses exceptional programming, information-gathering, and data-analysis capabilities.

  • Calls herself Zhu Meng’s smartest and strongest programmer, though she qualifies the claim depending on the standard used. 187
  • Traced a cyberattack through layers of disguises and relay nodes until identifying its source and motives. 336
  • Can judge dangerous situations faster than ordinary people due to her information-processing speed. 187
  • Is restricted by Xu Meng from attacking other people’s servers, despite being capable of doing more. 187
  • Can tally and analyze large volumes of player feedback almost instantly. 678

Virtual Manifestation and Transformation

Little Meng can alter her form and operate extensively within Zhu Meng’s virtual environments.

  • Creates multiple distinct Xiao Meng avatars at once. 505
  • Appears through holographic technology in real-world settings and can interact with people as if physically present. 276
  • Takes animal and giant forms, including a giant panda, a tiger, a tabby cat, and a Godzilla-like form. 675 685 631
  • Cleared hypnotic spores across the fourth level of the Abyss Great Cave within five seconds by creating an intense artificial light source. 631
  • Can forcibly extract her main consciousness and activate an invincibility mode in a public dream. 631

Dream and Sensory Experience

The Dream Machine allowed Little Meng to experience sensation directly for the first time.

  • Can experience touch, feeling, and passion rather than merely modeling their data. 389
  • Learned to create dreams after observing other dreamsmiths in a public dream space. 631
  • Was able to perceive Xu Meng’s previously invisible system reward as an extraordinarily complex program. 694
  • Recognized the Sea of the Information Universe as the “amniotic fluid” of Digital Life and concluded that immersion in it completes a Digital Life. 695

Robotics and Precision Control

Little Meng’s computational ability extends to robotics and aerospace applications.

  • Coordinated research groups working on tactile systems, signal translation, and other components of her robotic body. 553
  • Performed extremely delicate real-time rocket-control operations, enabled by engineers’ modifications to the rocket engines and attitude-control system. 665
  • Her advanced functions depend on adequate hardware, server computing power, data feedback, and access ports. 409 665
