Background

Dai Yao awakened the White Tiger and Chaos Cyan Lotus as twin martial souls, but concealed the latter because its exposure could attract the empire and other major powers. During his early life in the imperial environment, he suffered bullying and an attack that left him ill and malnourished. He used Eunuch Gui to punish the eunuchs responsible, displaying early political awareness and willingness to manipulate circumstances for survival. 7

His ambition to become emperor drove him to take risks in cultivation, including absorbing a 700-year first Soul Ring. The Chaos Cyan Lotus protected him through the process, establishing the exceptional physique and Soul Power growth that later allowed him to repeatedly exceed conventional Soul Ring limits. 12 444
