Dai Yao killed the Star Luo Emperor, left Spirit Hall, gained the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger’s power, and began preparing for the Sea God inheritance. He returned to Vast Sea City, planned a wedding with the women who loved him, and met Hu Liena again as he faced his past.

• Dai Yao revealed his One Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring, defeated the Star Luo Emperor with the God Slaying Spear, and killed the Star Luo Empress before leaving Star Luo City.
• Dai Yao rescued Dai Hengyu, reunited with the Cyan Lotus Sect, and gave Zhu Zhuyue’s remains and Dai Yaming’s Spirit Bone back to the Star Luo family.
• Dai Yao confronted Bibi Dong at Pope’s Palace, gave her Soul Power for her Rakshasa inheritance, and left Spirit Hall with Zhu Zhuqing, Feng Wutong, and the maids.
• Dai Yao hunted the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, absorbed its Spirit Ring and power, and forced Xiao Wu to obey him after showing her memories of the Spirit Beast Clan’s plan.

Dai Yao married Hu Liena and his four brides, then led his companions to Sea God Island to undertake the Sea God’s trials. After completing the first three trials and confronting Bo Saixi over her scheme, Dai Yao began the Fourth Trial by targeting the Evil Orca King.

• Dai Yao proposed to Hu Liena, married his four brides in Vast Sea City, and later recruited Purple Pearl to guide his group to Sea God Island.
• Dai Yao and his companions reached Sea God Island, where his wives received top-level trials and Dai Yao received the Sea God Nine Trials.
• Dai Yao absorbed a 190,000-year God-given Soul Ring, while Bai Chenxiang completed her first-kiss assessment and joined Dai Yao’s family.
• Dai Yao and the women completed their first trials, then Dai Yao fought Xiao Bai during the second trial and wounded her after his other personality took control.
• Dai Yao confronted Bo Saixi over her scheme, received compensation from her, and absorbed another God-given Soul Ring as his Eighth Spirit Ring.
• Dai Yao and his companions endured the Raging Wave Forbidden Area for a year and completed the third trial.

Dai Yao completes the Sea God trials, strengthens his allies, and returns to a continent under Spirit Hall’s advance. After reviving Xiao Wu and rescuing the Element Academies, he faces Tang San and the Clear Sky Sect elders, ending with Godfall aimed at Tang San.

• Dai Yao defeats the Holy Pillar Douluo and endures Bo Saixi’s attacks long enough to pass his Sixth Trial, then claims the Sea God Trident and completes his Seventh Trial.
• Dai Yao returns to the continent, reorganizes the Cyan Lotus Sect, and prepares to aid the war effort as the Spirit Hall Empire advances toward Zhennan Pass.
• Dai Yao visits Hu Liena in the Spirit Hall camp, reconciles with her, and gives her a Yellow Lotus that evolves her martial soul into the Nine-tailed Sky Fox.
• Dai Yao uses the Sea God’s Light and his spirit rings to begin Xiao Wu’s resurrection, then helps Yin E transform, though his evil personality influences his actions toward her.
• Dai Yao rescues Feng Xiaotian and the Four Elements Academy disciples from Tang Hu’s forces, then flies to Shrek Academy to save Shui Bing’er, Xue Wu, and the others.
• Dai Yao breaks through Heaven Dou City’s wall so the trapped academy members can escape while he confronts Tang San, Tang Xiao, and four Clear Sky Sect elders.
• Dai Yao uses Formless Storm to restrain Tang Xiao and the elders, attacks them with his skills and the Sea God Trident, and finishes by aiming Godfall at Tang San.

Dai Yao negotiated with Di Tian to prevent a Beast Tide while Bibi Dong led Spirit Hall’s conquest of the Heaven Dou Empire. After Zhennan Pass fell and Heaven Dou’s leaders were captured or scattered, Dai Yao used Sky Dream Ice Silkworm’s sacrifice to delay the spirit beasts and left with Bibi Dong.

• The Seventh Elder and the Golden Iron Triangle protected Tang San from Dai Yao’s Godfall, while Di Tian appeared and proposed an alliance against Dai Yao.
• Dai Yao reunited with Shui Bing’er and Xue Wu, arranged Ice Empress’s sacrifice for Xue Wu, and then returned to Vast Sea City, where Ning Fengzhi warned him of a coming Beast Tide.
• Dai Yao reconciled with Bibi Dong, learned that Golden Alligator Douluo’s injury had enabled the Clear Sky Sect’s return, and accepted Da Ming and Er Ming’s sacrifices after telling them he had revived Xiao Wu.
• Dai Yao confronted Di Tian at the Lake of Life and refused to help spirit beasts become gods, then agreed to remain in the forest while Bi Ji and Zi Ji accompanied him.
• Dai Yao killed Bear Lord as Bibi Dong launched Spirit Hall’s assault on Zhennan Pass, where Tang San and the defenders were overwhelmed and Tang Xiao and four elders were captured.
• Bibi Dong’s forces took Heaven Dou City, and she imprisoned Liu Erlong and Tang Yuehua while Tang San and his companions escaped.
• When Di Tian prepared to unleash the Beast Tide, Dai Yao awakened Sky Dream Ice Silkworm, whose sacrifice gave him a platinum ninth ring and delayed the spirit beasts.
• Bibi Dong told Di Tian that Zhennan Pass had fallen and persuaded Dai Yao to leave, then privately admitted the defenses were incomplete and embraced him.
