History
The Immortal Domain was first presented at the end of an Immortal Path, where Supreme Beings glimpsed a realm filled with Immortal Dao Laws, Immortal Medicines, and seemingly endless treasures. Their entry proved disastrous: the apparent domain was only a projection within a trap arranged around the path, meant to incite them to kill one another. 185 186
After the remnant Immortal Path was broken, the Immortal Bell chose to ascend with the Chaos Immortal Spirit while Zhang Huan remained in the mortal world. The Bell later described the true Immortal Domain as a realm whose original True Immortal sects had vanished; a supreme being subsequently arose and ruled it. 191 192
After becoming an Immortal King, Zhang Huan opened the Immortal Domain’s barrier and brought his family into the realm. He and Hua Ling soon subdued its local True Immortal powers, absorbed their forces into the Dao Court, and established control over its territories and medicine gardens. 228 229
Zhang Huan subsequently refined the entire realm into a World Artifact. He made it his principal stronghold, installed the Aetherial Immortal Net, and later expanded the main domain by merging numerous fragments recovered from the Sea of Worlds. 230 291 300
Appearance
The Immortal Domain is a vast immortal realm saturated with Immortal Dao energy and exceptionally dense natural resources. Its lands contain protected medicine gardens, ancient formations, palaces, and territories capable of sustaining True Immortals and Immortal Kings. 229 291
- Immortal plants and divine medicines grow in sealed valleys, with fragrances that travel across great distances despite layered formations. 229
- Its main domain was enlarged using more than twenty recovered realm fragments, forming new mountains, rivers, seas, and surrounding satellite realms. 300
- A World Tree phantom formed after the main realm’s completion and showed affinity toward it. 300
- Its central cultivation grounds contain dense Immortal Qi, large-scale restrictions, and Immortal King-level defensive formations. 291 298
Abilities & Features
World Artifact Authority
After refining the realm, Zhang Huan can treat the Immortal Domain as an extension of his own power and as a second Immortal King Artifact. 230
- Zhang Huan’s Spiritual Sense encompasses the entire realm, allowing him to monitor Hua Ling’s movements within it. 229
- The realm functions as a fortified base containing True Immortals, World Trees, Karma Immortal Bells, and Immortal King formations. 291
- Its Grand Formation was upgraded into an Emperor Formation; only a Quasi-Immortal Emperor is stated to be capable of breaching it. 298
- Its World Artifact status later reaches half the level of a Quasi-Immortal Emperor artifact. 304
Virtual God Realm
Zhang Huan created the Aetherial Immortal Net within the Immortal Domain, later renaming it the Virtual God Realm. 230 293
- It connects every cultivator in the realm and transmits its functions and rules directly into their minds. 230
- Death within the network is not permanent, instead imposing a temporary restriction. 230
- Knowledge and treasures acquired inside the network can be retained in reality. 230
- Its reserves are fueled by the energy of Immortal King and Titan corpses Zhang Huan collected during his travels. 291
- The system preserves and evolves vast collections of Dao Principles and secret techniques beyond what Zhang Huan can absorb at once. 291
Immortal Dao Environment
The realm’s environment supports prolonged cultivation and the growth of immortal resources.
- Its medicine gardens contain legendary spiritual plants that had vanished from the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands. 229
- The Dao Court and the realm’s native inhabitants include more than ten True Immortals under Zhang Huan’s authority. 291
- The expanded domain is divided into inner and outer layers: the outer satellite realms are intentionally harsher and poorer in resources, serving as grounds for cultivating new-law prodigies. 300
Six Paths of Reincarnation Project
The realm’s Artifact Spirit seeks to establish the Six Paths of Reincarnation through the Buddhist path of faith. 291
- It created an independent Buddha Kingdom within the Immortal Domain for ascended Buddhist cultivators. 291
- Zhang Huan expanded the Buddha Kingdom to two-thousandths of the Immortal Domain, an area described as encompassing hundreds of millions of starfields. 291
- The project remains difficult because hostile abnormal beings would not permit the Six Paths of Reincarnation to exist. 291
