"Something's wrong, Chief! There's trouble." At that moment, a young man jogged into our lounge.
I recognized the young man. He was one of R5's people.
R5 frowned. "What are you making such a fuss for? Do you know where you are?"
Only then did the young man calm down. He first bowed to us, then looked at R5. R5 glanced at us as well before saying, "Mr. Jiang isn't an outsider. I told you all before. Have you forgotten?"
The young man said awkwardly, "Some of our people are causing trouble. They say they don't welcome Mr. Jiang's arrangements for registration, record-keeping, supervision, and management. They say this is basically absorbing our unit into theirs."
R5's expression darkened. "Didn't the managers in charge already explain the situation to everyone? Why are people still causing trouble? Who's leading them?"
R55 suddenly asked, "Is it R105?"
The young man nodded. "It's him, so..."
R5 showed a knowing expression. Naturally, anyone who dared incite trouble wouldn't hold a low position in the organization.
Although R105 ranked beyond one hundred, he was genuinely part of management.
And aside from the three guys in front of me, he could be considered the fourth most important figure.
R15 said, "How could it be him? I spoke to him personally before, and he readily accepted it. Why was he stirring up trouble again now?"
R55 sighed. "He's R1's confidant. He's always believed he could represent R1's will. He was probably just brushing you off before. He's a very calculating man."
When I first met R55, I had also thought he seemed rather effeminate, but after getting to know him, he turned out to be someone who could take things up and put them down. At the very least, he gave me the impression that he understood
