Enel Appears

Haku looked at the old man before him and said, "No, no, no! Right now, I'm the most dangerous person on this island!"

Gan Fall studied Haku seriously for a moment, then said, "Fine. I can't see your strength, but I'll still give you some advice. Leave this island as soon as possible. If that guy finds out you're here..."

Haku shrugged and said, "So what if he finds out? I'm actually hoping he'll come looking for me soon. That'll save me the trouble of traveling!"

Seeing Haku like this, Gan Fall stopped trying to say anything more. He'd already given his warning, and pressing further would just be a waste of breath.

Haku ignored the old man and walked off in another direction, but before leaving, he said, "I'd advise you to stay put. You'd better keep your nose out of what's happening on this island now. Don't end up bringing trouble on yourself."

Gan Fall watched Haku's retreating figure and sighed inwardly. He thought Haku was heading to his death, but he couldn't stop him. He could only hope Haku would return safely, though he didn't hold much hope for that.

Soon, Haku encountered one of the next Four Priests.

"Heh heh! Heh ooh!" A peculiar laugh reached Haku's ears.

Before long, a spherical object came into Haku's view. If he hadn't looked closely, he might have almost missed that it was actually a person.

Satori looked at Haku before him and said, "I didn't expect a Blue Sea person to barge in here! I am the priest in charge of the 'Ball Trial,' with a 10% survival rate. Are you ready to die?"

Haku's Observation Haki clearly sensed explosives and similar items inside the nearby ball clouds.

"Destructive Arts, Number Four, White Lightning."

Without waiting for the other to react, Haku extended his index finger and detonated all the ball clouds at once.

Seeing Haku blow up all the Surprise Clouds he'd painstakingly created, Satori angrily charged at Baiyuan, aiming to hit him with an Impact Dial.

Haku said casually, "Why the rush?"

"Destructive Arts, Number Ninety, Black Coffin."

In an instant, a black cube enveloped Satori's body. Haku could faintly hear the priest's agonized screams from within the Black Coffin.

Before long, the Black Coffin dissipated. Satori lay on the ground, barely alive and unable to move.

Just as Haku was about to finish him off, a wave of heat surged toward him. When Haku looked up, his entire body was instantly engulfed in flames.

"Is Satori still alive?" A gruff voice sounded from the direction the flames had come from.

Soon, a man riding a giant bird and wearing a helmet landed in front of Satori. Behind him, figures stirred, and before long, the Skypiean warriors spread out and surrounded the area.

Shura looked at the dying Satori. In his view, Satori seemed to want to say something.

"Quick...!"

But as he leaned in to listen closely, Satori ultimately couldn't hold on and breathed his last on the spot.

Shura asked anxiously, "Hey, hey, hey! Don't die yet! What were you trying to tell me?"

Just then, the burning flame behind him spoke: "He was trying to tell you to run."

Shura's pupils dilated instantly. He warily looked at the burning flame, wondering why the person inside hadn't been burned to death.

Haku raised his right hand and swept it diagonally upward. The flames clinging to him extinguished at once.

Haku glanced around and laughed. "Yo! All you Skypieans are here, huh?"

Wappa stared at Haku from a distance with a displeased look, and the Skypiean warriors he led didn't respond to Haku either.

Finding it boring, Haku turned his attention to Shura before him. He spoke slowly, "Perfect timing! I just dealt with the second priest, and you show up. Saves me the trouble of coming to find you!"

"Blue Sea man! Your end is here! Heat Bazooka!" Sensing the threat, Shura struck first.

He leaped up, and flames burst forth.

"Boom!" The pillar of fire pierced straight through the ground.

The flames moved so fast it was astonishing. In the blink of an eye, they consumed Haku's body.

"Haha, Blue Sea man, taste the power of flame!" Shura's arrogant laughter echoed through the forest.

A crisp sound of a blade being drawn rang out, and Shura's laughter abruptly stopped. The flames that should have been burning obediently gathered around Haku instead.

"No! Impossible! How can this be?" Faced with this, Shura's confidence wavered.

He didn't fire flames again. Instead, he jumped onto the giant bird's back, gripped his spear tightly, and charged down at Haku.

"Die, kid!"

With Shura's roar, his giant bird seemed spurred on and dove even faster toward Haku.

Some Skypieans, seeing Haku about to be attacked, instinctively wanted to fire a cannon to help him.

Just as the spear was about to pierce Haku, he raised his Zanpakuto and slashed out a massive cutting wave, cleaving the priest and the giant bird in two.

Wappa and the others stared in shock at the direction Haku had attacked. The slash, after cutting through Shura, didn't lose momentum and destroyed all the trees for hundreds of meters.

But none of that mattered. Haku looked up at the sky with a serious expression, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

In the sky appeared a man with a white turban and a bare upper body. His earlobes were long, adorned with golden earrings. He carried thunder drums on his back, wore gold rings on his fingers, and held a golden staff.

He wore baggy pants, was barefoot, and had rings on his toes.

This newcomer was none other than Enel, the current ruler of God's Island.

Enel looked at the corpses of Shura and Satori and said, "Tch, a bunch of useless fools."

Then he turned to Baiyuan, who stood in place, and said, "Blue Sea man! I'll give you a chance now. Submit to this god and become my underling, and I'll spare your life!"

Haku was staring at the other man like he was looking at an idiot.

He spoke up: "Big earlobes! You really think you're a god, huh?"

"B-Big earlobes???" Clearly, Enel really liked that title (or so Haku assumed).

"Go to hell, Enel!" At that moment, Wappa suddenly raised his Burn Bazooka and fired at Enel in the sky.

Haku glanced toward Wappa and muttered a curse under his breath—idiot.

Wappa's attack was easily dodged by the other man. The main issue was that his attack intent was far too obvious, so Enel's Observation Haki had already sensed him long before.
