Battle Against Enel

Due to Haku's provocation, combined with Wappa's sudden attack, Enel finally couldn't hold back his vile temper.

"God's Judgment!"

Enel raised his wrist, a flash of lightning streaked across the sky, and a massive pillar of thunder descended from above, striking toward Wappa not far away.

"Wappa!!!" The Skypiean warriors cried out in alarm.

But it was useless. Aside from Haku, no one present could face Enel's attack.

And Haku himself had no intention of helping the Skypiean who had attacked him earlier.

The lightning flashed and vanished in an instant. Wappa lay on the ground, charred black, his life or death uncertain.

Still, Haku could sense the man's tenacious vitality through Observation Haki. He could only silently remark that if you don't court death, you won't die.

His target had always been Enel. If Wappa had just stayed put, none of this would have happened.

After dealing with Wappa, Enel turned his attention back to Haku.

He pointed at Haku and said arrogantly, "Boy, see that? That's the power of a god. Only I, a god, possess such strength!"

"So, are you going to become my subordinate or not?"

Haku rubbed his forehead as he looked at Enel, who was suffering from an extreme case of chuunibyou. On top of that, the guy had a rotten personality, like a spoiled brat.

So Haku answered without hesitation, "No."

Enel's face darkened. Sparks of electricity flickered faintly around him.

Seeing how easily the man was provoked, Haku couldn't help but smirk. "What? You think that little bit of power is enough to make me your subordinate? You must not be awake yet."

Enel caught the disdain in Haku's words, and the usually lofty god was furious. He shouted at Haku, "Bastard! Me letting you be my subordinate is your honor!"

"Since you're so ungrateful, then go to hell with that guy just now!"

"God's Judgment!"

He raised his hand again, using the same move. A pillar of lightning descended from the sky toward where Haku stood.

After the strike, only a smoking crater remained. Haku was nowhere inside it.

Haku had already used Shunpo to appear behind Enel. His right hand reached forward, coated in Armament Haki, aiming for the back of Enel's neck.

Enel felt a dangerous sense of dread behind him. His Mantra had already caught Haku's position.

The man was right behind him, reaching out to grab him. Enel instinctively used Elementalization and lunged forward to dodge the attack.

Having failed, Haku clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Tch. You're pretty good with that Observation Haki. I almost had you just now."

"Bastard! What did you just do? Why do I feel like you could actually touch my body?" Enel's tone was as nasty as ever.

Haku's expression turned mocking. "Heh. Why would I tell a dead man? Big earlobes."

"I am the Thunder God, not some 'big earlobes'! Die!" Enel discharged electricity from his entire body and charged at Haku.

Haku sidestepped, dodging Enel's attack. He reappeared behind Enel and punched him in the back.

Enel was sent stumbling forward, crashing to the ground in a mess.

"Bastard Blue Sea dweller! What's going on? How can you hurt me?!" Enel roared in fury.

Hearing Enel's angry shouts, Haku turned around, a disdainful smirk curling at the corner of his mouth. "Hurt you? You think too little of it. I'm here to kill you."

Enel saw the look in Haku's eyes and knew the man truly had Killing Intent toward him. A flicker of regret crossed his mind—if he'd known the guy was this strong, he shouldn't have been so impulsive.

"Bastard! Bastard! Bastard!" Enel roared in rage.

Haku found the man's expression amusing. This guy really had a terrible temper.

"Alright, stop messing around. Surrender quietly. With strength like yours, you want me to be your subordinate? You're underestimating me too much," Haku said again.

Enel caught the sarcasm in Haku's words and bellowed, "Bastard! I won't let you off! I won't let you off!"

"Then bring it on! Let me see what this so-called Thunder God can do!" Haku taunted.

He was getting into the mood now, wanting to have a little fun with this so-called god.

"Damn it! Watch my 30 Million Volts? Thunderbird!"

Faced with Haku's arrogant provocation, Enel struck the drum on his right shoulder, releasing the lightning he had generated from the drum. It formed a phoenix-shaped Thunderbird that shot toward Haku at high speed, scorching everything it touched.

Haku used Shunpo to put distance between himself and the Thunderbird. But since the bird was under Enel's control, no matter how Haku dodged, the Thunderbird stayed locked onto him.

"Tch!"

Haku glanced down at Enel, who wore a smug expression. He drew his Zanpakuto and slashed at the Thunderbird, a strike imbued with Haki.

"What?!"

To Enel's shock, his Thunderbird was split in half and dissipated.

Snapping back to his senses, Enel commanded lightning to fill the area around him. This move successfully blocked Haku from closing in.

"30 Million Volts? Thunder Beast!"

Enel struck the drum on his left shoulder, releasing his stored lightning into the form of a wolf-shaped Thunder Beast that sprinted toward Haku at high speed.

Watching the Thunder Beast charging over, Haku shouted loudly to the Skypieans observing the fight from a distance and to Gan Fall hiding further away: "All of you, get out of this forest and flee the island right now! If you get caught up in the fight that's coming, you'll die!"

After saying this, Haku turned his gaze back to the oncoming Thunder Beast. Unable to get close because of the lightning surrounding Enel, he decided to show his true strength.

"All things in the universe turn to ashes. Ryujin Jakka!"

As Haku released his Zanpakuto, his flames instantly ignited the entire forest, the blazing fire devouring the surrounding trees and underbrush.

Enel's Thunder Beast was also engulfed by the flames. It let out a piercing howl before quickly bursting out of the fire's encirclement.

"Fuzhan."

Haku gathered his Spiritual Pressure into the blade and delivered an extremely fast vertical slash, splitting the Thunder Beast in two with lightning speed.
