Battle Against Enel

Because of Haku's provocation and Wappa's sudden attack, Enel finally could no longer hold back his foul temper.

"God's Judgment!"

Enel simply raised his wrist, a flash of lightning crossed the air, and a massive pillar of lightning descended from the sky to attack Wappa not far away!

"Wappa!!!" the Shandia warriors cried out in alarm.

Unfortunately, this did not do much good; aside from Haku, no one present was able to face this move from Enel.

And Haku himself had no wish to help this Shandia man who had previously attacked him!

The lightning-filled sky flashed and vanished, and Wappa had already collapsed to the ground, charred all over and of unknown life or death!

Yet Haku could still sense the other's stubborn vitality through his Observation Haki, and he could only silently complain to himself that those who do not seek death will not find it.

Haku's original target was Enel, and if Wappa had just stayed put obediently, such a thing would never have happened!

After dealing with Wappa, Enel turned his attention back to Haku!

He spoke arrogantly to Haku, saying, "How about that, brat! Did you see! This is the power of a god. Only this god possesses such mighty power!"

"So are you going to become my subordinate in the end or not!"

Haku supported his forehead as he looked at the opposite Enel, who was suffering from extreme chuni syndrome, coupled with the other's foul personality! He was just like a spoiled brat!

So Haku replied without the slightest hesitation, "No!"

Enel's expression turned unusually gloomy, electric sparks faintly flickering all around him!

Seeing that the other was so easily provoked, Haku curled his lip and said, "What? With just that little ability of yours, you want me to be your subordinate? You must not be fully awake yet!"

Hearing the other's disdain, which made the usually haughty Enel furious, he shouted angrily at Haku, "Bastard! It is your honor that this god allows you to be my subordinate!"

"Since you are so ungrateful! Then you can go to hell together with that guy from just now!"

"God's Judgment!"

With that, he raised his hand again with the exact same move, sending a pillar of lightning plunging from the sky toward the spot where Haku stood!

After this strike, only a deep crater wreathed in black smoke remained in place. There was no sign of Haku within that pit!

Haku's figure had already used Shunpo to reach behind Enel, his right hand thrusting forward! His palm, coated in Armament Haki, grabbed toward the back of Enel's neck!

Enel felt a terrifying sense of danger behind him that made him shudder! His Mantra had already captured Haku's figure.

The opponent was right behind him, reaching out to grab him! With near-instinctive reflex, Enel turned himself into elementalization and lunged forward to dodge this attack!

Unsuccessful in his first attempt, Haku said glumly, "Tch! You use that Observation Haki pretty well! Just now I was almost able to grab you."

"Bastard! What the hell did you just do? Why do I feel like you can touch my body!" Enel's tone remained as foul as ever.

With a mocking expression, Haku said, "Heh! Why should I tell a dying man! Big earlobes!"

"This god is called the Thunder God! Not some big earlobes, go to hell!" Enel discharged electricity across his entire body and charged at Haku.

Haku's figure flashed, dodging Enel's attack. He reappeared behind Enel, throwing a punch straight into Enel's back.

Struck, Enel lunged forward headfirst. He tumbled to the ground in a sorry state.

"Damn Blue Sea person! What is going on, why are you able to hurt this god!" Enel roared angrily.

Hearing Enel's angry roar, Haku turned around, the corner of his mouth curling into a disdainful smile: "Hurt you? Are you thinking too simply, I am here to kill you!"

Looking into Haku's eyes, Enel knew the other truly harbored killing intent toward him. He couldn't help feeling a tinge of regret in his heart; had he known the opponent was this strong, he wouldn't have acted so impulsively.

"Bastard! Bastard! Bastard!" Enel roared furiously.

Watching Enel's expression, Haku couldn't help finding it somewhat amusing. This guy's temper really was foul.

"Alright, stop making a fuss. Surrender obediently; with strength like yours, you still want me to be your subordinate? You look down on me far too much," Haku said again.

Catching the sarcasm in Haku's words, Enel roared in anger, "Bastard! I won't let you off! I won't let you off!"

"Then bring it on! Let me see the strength of this so-called Thunder God of yours!" Haku continued with a taunting tone.

By now his interest was fully piqued, and he just wanted to have a good time playing with this so-called god!

"Damn it! Take this, 30 Million Volts—Thunderbird!"

Facing Haku's arrogant provocation, Enel struck the taiko drum on his right shoulder, manifesting the electricity he generated from the drum and forming a phoenix-shaped Thunderbird that flew toward Haku at high speed; wherever the Thunderbird touched was instantly charred by electricity.

Haku used Shunpo to put some distance between himself and the Thunderbird, but after all, this Thunderbird was under Enel's control.

No matter how Haku dodged, that Thunderbird still managed to track him closely!

"Tch!"

Haku glanced out of the corner of his eye at Enel below, who was wearing a somewhat smug look, and drew his Zanpakuto once again, slashing a Haki-imbued slash toward the Thunderbird!

"What?"

Under Enel's astonished gaze, his Thunderbird was instantly split in two and dissipated.

Under the command of the recovering Enel, lightning filled the surroundings! This move successfully blocked Haku, who wanted to close in for close-quarters combat.

"30 Million Volts—Thunder Beast!"

Enel struck the taiko drum on his left shoulder, manifesting the electricity he generated from the drum and forming a wolf-shaped Thunder Beast that ran toward Haku at high speed.

Watching the bounding Thunder Beast, Haku shouted loudly at the Shandia people watching the battle and Gan Fall hiding in the distance: "All of you, hurry up and leave this forest to escape off the island! If you get caught up in the battle that follows, people will die!"

Having said that, Haku cast his gaze back toward the charging Thunder Beast! Since Haku could not get close because of the lightning surrounding Enel, he now intended to pull out his true skills!

"Reduce all creation to ash, Ryujin Jakka!"

As Haku began releasing the Zanpakuto in his hand, Haku's flames instantly ignited the entire forest, and the roaring blaze consumed all the surrounding trees and underbrush.

Enel's Thunder Beast was also enveloped by the flames, letting out a shrill howl before quickly bursting out from the encirclement of fire.

"Fuzhan"

Haku gathered his Spiritual Pressure to the edge of the blade for an extremely fast vertical slash, severing the Thunder Beast in two with lightning speed and thunderous momentum!
