When Haku said this, Sengoku's face darkened. "Then you'd better give me an explanation. Otherwise, there will be consequences."

As he said this, Sengoku glanced at Garp. The latter understood immediately and cracked his knuckles again. If Haku's answer was off in any way, he'd teach him a lesson in the name of 'love'—with his iron fists!

"An explanation? Simple. Because he's the First Generation Corazon." Haku explained with a smile.

Sengoku's pupils dilated at those words, and a storm raged in his heart. He knew exactly what the codename Corazon signified.

At the same time, Rosinante's face flashed through his mind.

Vice Admiral Tsuru also straightened up slightly upon hearing this.

She knew the next topic would involve her old adversary, Donquixote Doflamingo.

"What the hell is a Corazon?" Garp, completely lost, chimed in to assert his presence.

Sengoku ignored him and asked Haku seriously, "Are you sure he's the First Generation Corazon?"

"Positive," Haku said earnestly.

"What proof do you have?" Sengoku pressed further. He wouldn't take Haku's word at face value so easily.

Haku chuckled. "Heh. You can look into that yourself. I trust the Marines have the ability to find out where Vergo was stationed before he joined, without too much trouble."

"Oh, and one more thing. I know that six months after Vergo was transferred to the G5 branch—when he went to Minion Island on a mission—he discovered Rosinante's identity as a spy."

"How do you know—!"

Before Sengoku could finish, Haku cut him off bluntly. "Don't worry about where I got my info. Just know that everything I'm saying is true."

Vice Admiral Tsuru then spoke up. "Since you're certain he's a spy sent by Doflamingo, why not keep him alive and make use of him?"

That question was clearly directed at Haku.

Haku replied, "The World Government already threw me into the New World at the G5 branch. That means I'm going to have some fun with the Four Emperors' crews."

He paused for a moment. "And since the target I've got my eyes on is one of the Four Emperors—Kaido—Vergo had to die. I don't want my movements leaked to Doflamingo, who's working closely with Kaido."

"Ha! You little brat, don't tell me you're getting cocky. You think taking on a Four Emperors' crew is that easy?" Before he finished, Garp grabbed Haku by the back of the head and slammed his face into the floor.

"What the hell! Old Man, you sneak-attacked me! Let me go!" Haku struggled.

Sengoku's mind was racing, too tangled to pay attention to the scuffle between Haku and Garp.

He wasn't sure if Haku was telling the truth, but he still added Vergo to his 'high-priority watch' list.

Vice Admiral Tsuru was also thinking of a countermeasure. Now that she knew Vergo was the First Generation Corazon, she considered whether to persuade Haku to spare Vergo's life—so they could use him to set a trap for Doflamingo.

In the end, both Sengoku and Tsuru decided to keep Vergo alive.

Now that they knew he was Doflamingo's spy, they saw him as still useful.

Of course, to prevent Haku from killing Vergo outright once he took office, Sengoku ultimately transferred Vergo to Punk Hazard.

What they didn't know was that this played right into Doflamingo's hands.

He was already plotting with Caesar over the artificial Devil Fruits. With Vergo covering for him, things would only get easier.

But that had nothing to do with Haku. He had no idea where Sengoku had sent Vergo.

As for Haku himself, his target—Kaido of the Four Emperors—was real.

He wanted to gauge his own strength. Kaido, known as the 'Strongest Creature,' might not be the most skilled fighter, but his sheer durability was insane. He was a perfect opponent.

Plus, it would let him complete the system's mission to take on a Four Emperors' crew single-handedly.

Poor Kaido, still hungover on Onigashima, had no idea he'd been marked by the newly appointed Marine Admiral.

Soon after, Haku left Sengoku's office to resume his post. As he stepped out, his face was bruised black and blue, a mess.

He muttered under his breath, "That Old Man really doesn't hold back. What kind of grandfather enjoys beating up his own grandson for fun?"

"Ah, ah, ah! If it isn't Haku! Long time no see." Kizaru strolled leisurely toward him.

"Oh! Borsalino. Out here slacking off this early in the morning?" Haku said with a smug grin.

Kizaru froze for a moment, caught off guard. Haku's words made him feel exposed.

"Hahaha! Just kidding!" A playful smirk curled at the corner of Haku's mouth.

Kizaru didn't take offense. After all, it was true.

They exchanged a few more jabs before parting ways to handle their own business.

Haku wasn't in a rush to head to the New World, so he planned to stay in Marineford for a few days.

Back in his room, Haku opened his system panel.
