Background / History
Luo Chen began as a poor rogue cultivator at Great River Market. His invisible Attribute Panel granted him Achievement Points and measured the proficiency of his cultivation, spells, and alchemy; he initially used it to unlock the All Wonders Pill formula while surviving through Grain Avoidance Powder refinement. 1
His early rise depended on pill sales, controlled pricing, and practical restraint. He refused to raise the All Wonders Pill’s price before reaching high-grade quality, preferring stable customers and long-term income over immediate profit. 47 At the same time, repeated sparring with Qin Liangchen and real combat revealed an innate instinct for battle distinct from his system-supported alchemical talent. 55 114
After the Mountain Shattering Gang collapsed, Luo Chen partnered with Jade Cauldron Sword Sect cultivator Miao Wen to establish the Luo Tian Association. Although Miao Wen initially provided little beyond his Foundation Establishment reputation and access to opportunities, Luo Chen recognized the long-term value of building an independent organization around pill production. 145 The association later grew into the Luo Tian Sect, with Luo Chen acting as its Supreme Elder. 800
Luo Chen’s cultivation repeatedly expanded beyond orthodox qi refinement. He developed body-tempering methods, soul arts, formations, medical spells, artifact forging, and a combat style built on layered preparation rather than a single inherited technique. His self-created Myriad Paths Convergence integrated methods from body refinement, soul cultivation, qi-and-blood techniques, and prior inheritances. 391 397
Following Core Formation, Luo Chen chose the incomplete Burning Wood True Art rather than a safer longevity-focused method. The Wood-Fire path suited his Wither Bloom Fire and allowed him to retain his wood-element foundation while gaining greater destructive power. 457
His influence broadened across the Northern Sea, Central Province, and Eastern Wasteland. He became a Star Gate Guest Elder, accepted retainer status with the Fu Family, entered the Eastern Wasteland under the protection of powerful sects, and used high-tier alchemy to build alliances rather than relying solely on combat. 769 773 789
After later entering the Xuan World, Luo Chen concealed his past under the name Xuan Luo. He rebuilt his qi cultivation from the foundation, joined the Su Ling Sect, and used his disguised alchemical ability to rapidly become a recognized Tier 2 Alchemy Master and participant in the Zhou Liu Qi Pill project. 1204 1214
Appearance
Luo Chen is repeatedly described as strikingly handsome, with straight brows, solemn eyes, and an outwardly calm, refined bearing. During his approach to Core Formation, he wore white robes with a green collar embroidered in black bamboo; his gray-white hair was tied behind him, though later accounts identify blue hair as one of his defining features. 454 671
- Often dresses in pale Daoist robes and adapts the appearance of his armor to resemble ordinary clothing. 625
- His serene appearance contrasts with an unusually powerful physique, likened to a colossal reef or Black Tortoise standing against a great river. 454
- His aura becomes increasingly sword-like after refining Crimson Sky Qi into the Yuan Tu Sword. 774 793
- His body refinement eventually grants him a physique comparable to a Third-Order humanoid demon beast, later surpassing ordinary Desolate Beast standards. 397 1136
Personality
Luo Chen is practical, patient, and intensely resource-conscious. He evaluates pills, techniques, treasures, and alliances by long-term usefulness rather than prestige, and regularly rejects opportunities that would scatter his attention or compromise his independence. 98 265 620
He is cautious even after becoming powerful. He frequently conceals his realm, avoids unnecessary fights with stronger enemies, and prepares escape routes, defensive formations, alternate identities, and contingency plans before acting. 193 324 857 1284
In battle, Luo Chen is confident and at times boastful, but his confidence is grounded in preparation, battlefield control, and a willingness to spend resources. He considers combat an extension of cultivation and uses it to identify flaws in his methods and refine spiritual power. 98 107 114
Despite his ruthlessness toward enemies, he distinguishes gratitude from enmity. He protects Qin Liangchen’s family after Qin’s death, personally treats wounded Luo Tian Association members, and continues supporting disciples and old allies even when doing so offers little immediate gain. 411 435 832

- Cultivates the Heaven and Earth Furnace, a breakthrough method combining internal qi-and-blood cultivation with external tempering. 1136
Soul Arts and Illusions
Luo Chen’s divine soul foundation supports Split Souls, illusion arts, mental defenses, and simultaneous control of multiple tasks. 324 889
- Soul Splitting Art — Creates autonomous Split Souls that can cultivate, scout, assist in alchemy, and rescue his Main Soul during spiritual crises. 758 857 889
- Prison Suppression — A defensive soul art formed by his Main Soul and three Split Souls; attacks must exceed his soul strength by more than threefold to harm him. 889

- Thousand Rivers Travel — A Water Escape technique creating more than a thousand false bodies and scattered auras to mislead pursuers. 1284
Formation and Artifact Forging
Luo Chen applies formation theory and artifact-refining principles to treasures, defenses, and body tempering. 413 618

- Successfully forged the Bright Yellow Rock Armor with three Tier 1 arrays, two Tier 2 arrays, and a core Tier 3 armor array. 618
