Su Quan pulled the Super Soldier Serum from his system and aimed it at Billy's neck, plunging it straight in.

"Urgh—urgh—" The unconscious Billy let out an involuntary groan, his body beginning to shake and convulse violently.

"What—what did you do to him?" Starlight asked in a hushed voice.

Su Quan stared at Billy without answering.

If this worked, it meant the Super Soldier Serum farmed from a Super Soldier had a one hundred percent success rate when injected, making it easier to cultivate his own Super Soldier Legion in the future.

And Billy, now a Super Soldier, could more effectively tie up The Seven and Vought International, maximizing Su Quan's profits.

After all, he couldn't stay in this world forever, and its benefits wouldn't be drained dry in a short time!

As time passed, the unconscious Hughie stirred awake.

"I'm not dead?"

Hughie breathed a sigh of relief and instinctively turned his head to look for Billy.

Billy was right beside him, but something was off.

He seemed to be enduring some unknown, agonizing torment, yet his body appeared stronger than before.

His once well-fitting clothes were now tight and clinging, muscles bulging, their contours clearly visible.

"What did you do to him?"

In response, Su Quan ignored him, Starlight stayed silent, and—Billy gasped for air in great heaving breaths.

Billy was awake.

The Super Soldier Serum had worked!

"You okay?" Hughie helped Billy up with concern, then frowned slightly.

Heavy!

"Huff—" Billy exhaled the stale air, now fully conscious and aware of the changes in his body.

A surging, powerful strength felt both familiar and foreign. His explosive muscles and slightly elevated perspective sparked a terrifying thought.

"You—you turned me into a superhuman?" Billy glared at Su Quan in panic and fury.

Su Quan's face broke into a grin: "Congratulations on joining the ranks of superhumans!"

"Impossible!"

"This can't be!"

"Aren't superhumans born? How can you make an ordinary person into one?" Hughie's reaction was even more intense than Billy's!

The mainstream belief was that superhumans were born that way, with only Homelander as an exception—an alien raised by Earthlings!

"When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth!"

"I don't believe it!" Billy gritted his teeth, swinging his fist in rage as he charged at Su Quan.

"Zzzzz—zzzzz—" Starlight unleashed her electric light at once.

But the same electric light that had knocked Billy out before only managed to halt him for a moment now.

With an unyielding gaze, twisted features, and taut muscles, Billy pushed forward step by step against the electric light, closing the distance to Su Quan.

Starlight's eyes widened in shock as she steadily increased the power of her electric light, but even when her energy ran out and the light faded, she couldn't truly stop Billy.

It wasn't that Billy as a Super Soldier was stronger than Starlight; rather, the power of Starlight's electric light depended on the energy and electricity she had absorbed and stored.

Simply put, Starlight was like a power bank—she didn't generate electricity, only stored it.

The more she stored, the stronger the power, and the longer it lasted!

As for Billy—

The brave rage, drawing their blade against the stronger; the cowardly rage, drawing their blade against the weaker.

Billy was clearly a brave man.

He had dared to stand against a god like Homelander as a mere mortal, proving his spirit was unyielding.

A strong spirit paired with a robust body and explosive rage—one side waned while the other waxed. It made sense that Billy could withstand Starlight's attack.

After all, the leader of The Boys was still a leader. Fresh off injecting Super Soldier Serum and becoming a superhuman, it wasn't too much to give him a "fifty-fifty" plot armor, right?

Besides, if we're talking about being over the top, who could outdo Su Quan's system?

"Ding!"

"Combat detected. Reward dropped: Super Defense (Starlight)."

"Ding!"

"Combat detected. Reward dropped: Super Soldier Serum (Billy Butcher)."

A fight between Starlight and Billy actually dropped the Super Soldier Serum?

Using the Super Soldier Serum farmed from a super soldier to create a new super soldier, who then fights and drops another Super Soldier Serum—

Infinite nesting dolls?!

The farmed Super Soldier Serum was almost certainly a 100% success rate. Infinite nesting meant both free super soldiers and new targets to farm rewards from.

Even if super soldiers became a dime a dozen in the later stages of Marvel, the image of having every subordinate be a super soldier still got Su Quan pumped.

Key point!

"Every subordinate" included all future employees of Nato Tong Express.

In other words, delivery guys in the future would all be super soldiers. Scared yet? Impressed?

While Su Quan was daydreaming about an army of super soldiers, Billy, giving it his all, had already charged in front of him. Mustering every ounce of strength, he swung his fist and slammed it down hard.

"Watch out! Dodge—ugh—" Starlight cut off her warning with a grimace.

Su Quan looked at the fist pressed against his chest, then slowly raised his head to meet Billy's shocked expression.

"Does it hurt?"

His bones were broken, okay?!

Billy didn't waste time on shock. He quickly threw a hook with his other hand aimed at Su Quan's face.

Hit the face? I'm not Homelander, who gave you a hat and made you a cuckold. Aiming for the face—where's your manners?

Su Quan lifted his leg, extended his foot, and just as Billy's fist was about to graze his cheek, he kicked him flying.

A hair's breadth away, and it was a shore forever unreachable!

Watching Billy get launched into the air, about to vanish from sight—

Wind, suddenly stirred!

Starlight was about to push down her wildly flying hair when she gaped at the sight of Su Quan grabbing Billy by the neck and hoisting him up!

She almost thought her eyes were playing tricks on her!

How was this possible?!

Billy was almost out of the alley, yet in the blink of an eye, he was dangling from Su Quan's grip like a little chick?

Starlight was stunned. Hughie was stunned. Even Billy, the one involved, was stunned!

"You—you're a speedster too?!" Hughie shouted in shock, immediately thinking of the poster boy for speedsters, A-Train.

A-Train had killed his girlfriend the same way—so fast that no one realized what had happened.

"No, that's not right. You also used something like Homelander's Heat Vision to kill someone in the club. Why do you have so many abilities? How can you turn him into a superhuman? Who—who the hell are you?!"

Hughie demanded in disbelief, and then—one look from Su Quan shut him right up!

He lowered his head, stepped back, and cowered so cleanly and swiftly, his movements so practiced it was almost pitiful.
