Qian Renxue spent nearly ten years living as Xue Qinghe, the Heaven Dou crown prince. Beneath the persona’s refined manner, she pursued Spirit Hall’s plan to bring the empire under her control, while struggling with whether years of pretending to be another person had changed who she was 21.

During a journey to obtain a speed-enhancing Fifth Soul Ring, Xue Qinghe investigated a disturbance at Star Dou Waterway and encountered twelve-year-old Jiang Qianhai. Recognizing his extraordinary potential, she abandoned the urgency of her ring hunt to cultivate a connection with him, initially hoping to draw him into Spirit Hall 21 23. After eight days together, her recruitment-minded approach became genuine friendship; Jiang was the first true friend she had made 26.

Back in Heaven Dou, she maintained contact with Jiang through a Communication Stone, investigated threats surrounding Zhu Zhuqing, and deliberately reduced Emperor Xue Ye’s medicine to slow his recovery 28. She later sent Jiang a token granting him substantial authority within Heaven Dou 57.
