Fujino silently observed the old auntie disguised before him.

Clearly, the "little sister Haibara" she meant was their Xiao Ai.

Why was this old auntie Vermouth bringing up their Xiao Ai?

Keeping his expression neutral, Fujino said, "That's true. She's the child of some distant relatives and is only staying with us for now... But Doctor Shinide, is something wrong with Xiao Ai?"

After a pause, he showed a hint of concern. "Could there be something wrong with her health?"

"No, she's very healthy."

Old auntie Vermouth, disguised as Tomoaki Araide, swept her gaze over Fujino's reaction and chuckled. "I just noticed that she seemed a little low on energy, and there seemed to be some darkness around her eyes, so I wanted to ask about her sleeping habits."

"I see."
