Medusa rested her hands beneath her flawless chin, her eyes as soft as autumn.

"Thank you for the compliment, Queen. You're very beautiful too."

Ning Su had only meant it as a casual courtesy.

But Medusa blinked. "How beautiful?"

"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, Queen. So beautiful that fish would sink and birds would fall, the moon would hide and flowers would bow in shame," Ning Su answered honestly.

"Then do you like me?" Medusa asked again.

Why was she suddenly being so direct??

Could it be... Medusa had feelings for him too??
