Background / History

Naruto was raised in Konoha and identifies himself as the remaining bearer of the Uzumaki Clan’s legacy. When he meets the lingering consciousness of Uzumaki Ashina in the Land of Whirlpools, he introduces himself as the clan’s current head and recounts how scattered Uzumaki survivors were oppressed after their homeland fell.
