Fang Xun rose to become Human Emperor, strengthened the Human Race, and passed the throne to Lie Shan Shi before Xuanyuan succeeded him. As the Investiture of the Gods Calamity gathered around the succession, Fang Xun awakened Tai Yi and became involved in the coming conflict.

Fang Xun gathered spiritual-root origins, attained Da Luo, and confronted the forces shaping the Witch-Demon calamity. After protecting Heng'e through her tribulation, he was imprisoned beneath Buzhou Mountain, while the Demon Race mobilized for the final battle and Ye Fan faced Gong Gong.

  • Fang Xun collected spiritual-root origins from immortal trees, the Karma Fire Red Lotus, the Pure World White Lotus, and Great Immortal Yang Mei, then learned that the Golden Crow princes had been born and the Witch-Demon pact had expired.

After Ye Fan’s battle with the Dao Ancestor, Fang Xun recruited allies across worlds, claimed the Human Emperor title, and began his ascension amid challenges from the Sage sects and ancient races. Hong Yi attained Da Luo and created the Other Shore, leaving the Three Race Ancestors to face his Golden Bridge.

  • Ye Fan survived the Witch-Demon war, claimed the Heavenly Emperor title, and challenged the Dao Ancestor, while Houtu established the Six Paths of Reincarnation and Nuwa later attained Taiyi.
  • Meng Qi transcended by discarding the Three Pure Ones Symbols and making the Myriad Heavens and Worlds his internal world, then helped Nuwa complete her breakthrough.

He prepared to abdicate in favor of Lie Shan Shi, then intervened when Nu Wa was struck by a Heart Demon and the East Sea battle threatened a Human city.
