Background

Liu Ningshuang was already renowned in the White Cloud Sect before meeting Lu Yi. She formed her Golden Core at nineteen, became a Core Disciple, and consistently ranked among the top five on the Eastern Region Prodigy List. The Drifting Soul Peak Master—who had never previously accepted a disciple—made her an exception and took her as a personal disciple. 7

She first encountered Lu Yi while lecturing Qi Refining disciples at White Sheep Peak. Her explanation of cultivation foundations and the White Cloud Qi Guiding Art gave Lu Yi major insights, and she later invited him to demonstrate White Cloud Swordplay with her.
