The Key to the Spirit Hall Arc—Illusion

The comments brought up an issue with a so-called toxic plot point.

That was whether Bibi Dong would ultimately fall in love with Yu Xiaogang in my story. My answer is no!

But the awkward part is that updates take time. So, before the plot twist arrives, some readers who do not read carefully might think this is a toxic plot point. That is why, when I reached this chapter, I felt I had to explain it.

This story uses the side-story plot. The general outline is that Qian Xunji uses Illusion abilities to make Bibi Dong fall in love with Yu Xiaogang, then breaks the two of them apart, uses Yu Xiaogang to threaten Bibi Dong, intensifies the evil within her to attract the Rakshasa God's inheritance, and in the end, Qian Xunji willingly sacrifices himself.

In other words, Qian Xunji's ultimate goal is God Creation. What makes him more insane than Qian Daoliu is that the most important thing in Qian Daoliu's heart is the Angel God, while Qian Xunji does not care what god it is. Thus, Yu Xiaogang's role is actually just a tool to make Bibi Dong fall.

Therefore, everything I write from here until the final twist will, in fact, revolve around the Illusion. In other words: seeing is not believing.

In my setting, there are actually two sets of Angel Head Spirit Bones. One is with Qian Xunji, and one set is with Qian Renxue. Thus, the Spirit Hall arc I write next will be an illusion created under a double-layered Illusion.

The first layer: Qian Xunji drags Bibi Dong, Yu Xiaogang, and Liu Erlong into an Illusion!

The second layer: Qian Renxue drags Qian Xunji, Jin Zhong, Yin Chui, Yu Xiaogang, and Liu Erlong into an Illusion!

I should have saved this setting to expose at the end, but I think I should explain it. After all, wish-fulfillment novels should not be so convoluted. In fact, I have already planted foreshadowing for this setting in the existing plot. For example, Qian Renxue brought out Immortal Herbs, distributed Spirit Bones, and even produced God-Bestowed Spirit Rings and the Mysterious Heaven Skill. The entire Spirit Hall underwent earth-shaking changes, yet Qian Xunji, Jin Zhong, Yin Chui, Bibi Dong, and the others from the Pope's Palace were all utterly bewildered, with no idea what was going on.

I will delete this chapter after the Spirit Hall arc finally reaches its twist. Do not blame me for spoilers; otherwise, if you did not read carefully, you might think I was writing toxic content.
