Background / History

Bibi Dong's Spirit Awakening drew the attention of all Spirit Hall. After the Pope personally ordered her transfer to Spirit City, Golden Bell Douluo escorted her to Pope's Palace, where Qian Xunji accepted her as his disciple and named her Spirit Hall's Saintess. At the time, her chief concern was no longer going hungry. 18

From age six onward, she was raised and cultivated inside Pope's Palace. Though Qian Xunji treated her well, he kept her largely confined to Spirit City except during Soul Ring hunts, leaving her fascinated by the outside world and starved for ordinary friendship. 44 55

Her encounter with Yu Xiaogang at Coconut Grove Lake exploited that isolation.
