Now it was Kurama's turn to be suspicious. Itachi was dead—shouldn't Sasuke be happy?
He had been thinking about killing Itachi every single day, hadn't he?!
Seeing Kurama's expression, Naruto immediately guessed what Kurama was thinking. He shook his head and said, "There's a lot more to it. Sigh, even if I told you, you wouldn't understand. Come on, let's eat."
Naruto's expression of you don't understand, and you never will made Kurama furious. Waving his little fists, he gave Naruto several hard punches to the chest and huffed, "How am I supposed to understand if you don't tell me?!"
Kurama did not use any strength, so the punches landing on Naruto did not hurt at all. Naruto did not react either. With Itachi having just died, it was not a suitable time to discuss it. So Naruto chuckled, caught Kurama's fists, lifted him up, and held him in his arms. "Don't make such a fuss. Sasuke is grieving right now. Even if you don't know how to comfort people, don't make things worse."
"I would never make things worse," Kurama snorted unwillingly. But then Naruto's hand covered his head, and a blissful expression immediately appeared on his face.
Carrying Kurama into the house, Naruto found Sasuke sitting silently on the sofa. Naruto walked over and called out, "Sasuke, time to eat. You still need to eat."
Sasuke gave a quiet hum and obediently followed Naruto to the table.
After dinner, Kurama obediently went to wash the dishes. Though Sasuke was supposed to wash dishes for a month because he had lost their bet, seeing him like this, Kurama decided to wash them this once. Once Sasuke felt better and this matter had passed, he could just make Sasuke repay him tenfold.
After all, he was not a petty fox!
