Naruto brought Shikamaru to the Hokage Building and entered the Hokage's office.
Naruto said to Shikamaru, "Shikamaru, make sure the medical expenses, house reconstruction costs, and compensation for the two villagers who died due to the Asura Path Pain attack and the collapsed buildings are handled promptly."
Shikamaru nodded, making a note of it. "Don't worry, Lord Hokage."
"By the way, does Konoha still have money?" Naruto suddenly asked. Since taking over as Hokage, he had not paid much attention to Konoha's finances.

Konoha's finances are currently very abundant."
"That's good. Shikamaru, starting today, you'll take charge of Konoha's finances. When I leave on my travels and Lady Tsunade acts in my place, don't let her touch the treasury. You must remember that!" Naruto instructed him with a solemn expression.
If he did not make this clear, he feared that by the time he returned, Tsunade would have gambled Konoha into an empty shell. Worse still, she might even lose his Breeding Farm.
That would not do.
However, getting Tsunade to quit gambling was about as difficult as getting Kakashi-sensei to quit women.
"I understand, Lord Hokage. I definitely won't let Lady Tsunade touch even a single coin," Shikamaru immediately promised.
Naruto had always trusted his friend's way of handling matters. Whether it was the Breeding Farm or Konoha, Shikamaru's management had made things much easier for him. Otherwise, he would not have had so much
