Sasuke learned the truth about Itachi, accepted his eyes after his death, and began pursuing vengeance with Naruto. Naruto defeated Orochimaru, mastered a new stage of cultivation, and confronted Hiruzen in Konoha, ending with Hiruzen dead and Minato’s soul and Kurama’s Yin-attribute chakra retrieved.

• Naruto exposed Itachi’s regret, and Itachi confessed his choices to Sasuke before giving him his eyes and dying.
• Sasuke buried Itachi with Naruto, then joined Naruto in seeking Orochimaru.
• Naruto and Sasuke defeated Orochimaru, took his techniques and scrolls, and brought him to the Breeding Farm as its Biological Advisor.
