Background / History

Tang San is the son of Tang Hao, later revealed as Haotian Douluo, and Ah Yin, a hundred-thousand-year Soul Beast known as the Blue Silver Emperor. He inherited Blue Silver Grass from his mother and also possesses the Clear Sky Sect's Haotian Hammer, making him a Twin Martial Soul user with innate full Soul Power 2 46.

He first encounters Bibi Dong and Ye Xiaobao in the Star Dou Great Forest while hunting for his first Soul Ring with Yu Xiaogang. Bibi Dong gives him a Mandala Snake, which Tang San kills and absorbs to gain Blue Silver Entanglement 6.

After learning of his mother's sacrifice and Xiao Wu's similar loss at Spirit Hall's hands, Tang San resolves to cultivate diligently and seek revenge alongside his father. His bond with Xiao Wu deepens despite the revelation that she is a hundred-thousand-year Soul Beast 34 46.

Tang San later gains the Crystal Blood Dragon Ginseng from his grand-uncle Bai He and provides the Clear Sky Sect with designs for the Zhuge Godly Crossbow, Silent Sleeve Arrow, and Flying Divine Claw in preparation for war against Spirit Hall 75 76.

Following the destruction of the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao takes Tang San to awaken his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline. The awakening grants him a ten-thousand-year fourth Soul Ring and raises him to Soul Ancestor 99 100.

Appearance

After awakening the Blue Silver Emperor, Tang San's appearance changes markedly: his hair turns long and blue, and he is described as exceptionally handsome 100 131.

Tang San is determined, cautious, and intensely loyal to those he considers family. He refuses Yu Xiaogang's proposal that he publicly sever ties with Tang Hao and feign defection to Spirit Hall, stating that some matters cannot be weighed against life itself 151.

In battle, he is calculating and ruthless. He uses distractions, poison, hidden weapons, and battlefield control to defeat stronger opponents, and regards poison as a legitimate part of strength 142 149. His pursuit of revenge against Spirit Hall drives many of his decisions 46 99.
