"Land of Waves" Instance Dungeon

That evening, at the Great Elder's residence.

As soon as Kyosuke returned home, a Secret Ninja informed him that the Great Elder wished to see him.

Quietly pondering the matter, Kyosuke followed the Secret Ninja to the Great Elder's home.

The moment he entered, he saw the four Elders, along with Fugaku, already seated in the living room, waiting for his arrival.

Before he could even sit down, the Great Elder hurriedly asked, "Did you go to the Root base with Orochimaru today? What did you go there for?"

So they found out after all. Kyosuke thought to himself before saying, "Because of his duties, Orochimaru handed me over to Danzo."

"Handed you over? You mean..." The Great Elder hesitated, then pressed on.

Kyosuke knew what he wanted to ask and nodded in confirmation.

"You really joined the Anbu?" The Great Elder's voice rose several pitches.

Kyosuke nodded again.

"Hahaha, good! This is wonderful!" The Elders exchanged glances, then burst into laughter together.

After laughing for a while, they looked back at Kyosuke and said, "You did very well. But remember this: if the Anbu makes any moves, large or small, you must report them to us promptly. Understood?"

"I understand," Kyosuke replied.

"Very good. Go back and rest first." The Second Elder smiled at him.

Just as Kyosuke turned to leave, the Great Elder suddenly added, "Remember, no matter when, you are a member of the Uchiha Clan. Do not forget that."

Kyosuke paused, turned around, bowed, and then left.

Behind him, the four Elders and the ever-silent Fugaku began murmuring among themselves again.

"Phew." Lying on his bed, Kyosuke finally let out a sigh of relief.

At this point, his entry into the Anbu had become a settled matter. No one could stop it now.

That meant he could start farming Experience Points again.

But before that, he still had one thing to do: revisit an Instance Dungeon he had not opened in a long time.

His reason was simple. He was about to begin his life in the Anbu.

There was no need to think about it. As a young boy, there would definitely be a massive gap in strength between him and his teammates.

If he did not want others looking down on him, Kyosuke could only use Instance Dungeons to see whether he could further improve his strength.

He could not attempt the "Strongest Challenger" Instance Dungeon yet. Aside from Youth Itachi, every other character was at least Elite Chunin level. Kyosuke had no desire to go looking for a beating.

Anyone qualified to be listed as "strong" by the system could not have their power measured merely by their apparent "level." Just thinking of Itachi from before made that clear.

Therefore, unless his strength improved further, Kyosuke would not enter a "Strongest Challenger" Instance Dungeon to get beaten up.

However, regular "story" Instance Dungeons had a similar problem. The ones that were too low-level could no longer offer Kyosuke much of a reward.

If he wanted high-quality loot, he had to choose something a level more difficult.

So Kyosuke skipped past the D-rank Instance Dungeons and turned his attention to the C-rank "covers."

After browsing through them, he ultimately selected an Instance Dungeon called "Land of Waves."

He knew this Instance Dungeon very well, because it was Team Kakashi's first high-difficulty mission.

There, they encountered the Kirigakure Missing-nin, Momochi Zabuza, as well as the boy he had taken in, Yuki Haku.

After a fierce battle, they each defeated their opponents, and the bridge in the Land of Waves was successfully completed.

As the first thrilling battle to appear in the original work, several of its characters were extremely popular. Kyosuke himself also liked those two villains with their rather human sides.

But that did not stop Kyosuke from considering how to kill them.

Having decided to enter this Instance Dungeon, Kyosuke first got up and carefully washed his hands.

Because shortly, he would need to take a crucial "gamble."

Starting from D-rank difficulty, there were no longer any "original" Instance Dungeons. Every Instance Dungeon was recreated from scenes that had truly happened.

This created a problem.

In many Instance Dungeons, whether Kyosuke existed or not, as long as events followed their original course, victory would ultimately be achieved.

If that were the case, could Kyosuke not just participate directly in the battle of Kaguya's Release now?

That was why Kyosuke had washed his hands earlier, hoping that this act would help him successfully replace Sakura.

Kyosuke even believed that if he replaced Sasuke, his chances of clearing the mission would not be low either.

Although twelve-year-old Sasuke was far stronger than the current Kyosuke in physical ability, Chakra, and mastery of several Fire Release techniques.

But all of those abilities were at a disadvantage against Haku.

So, when fighting Haku, having an ability that could counter her speed was the key to victory.

Otherwise, no matter how powerful a Ninjutsu was, it would be useless if it could not hit the target.

"Prompt: Enter Instance Dungeon?"

Kyosuke looked over the completion requirements and chose to enter without hesitation.

In an instant, a series of System Prompts abruptly rang out in his mind.

"Prompt: Screening the list of replaceable personnel. Please wait."

"Screening complete. Replaceable personnel: Kakashi Hatake, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno."

"Randomly replacing one personnel. Please wait."

"Prompt: The person replaced in this Instance Dungeon is Naruto Uzumaki."

Feeling rather speechless, Kyosuke vanished from his bed just like that.
