Scenes from that anime flashed rapidly through Shen Yuanyi's mind. In his previous life, he had not known much about it, only having watched the animated adaptation. Its characters and plot surfaced in his mind one by one...

Before long, wailing police cars and ambulances arrived. Koharu Anzu and the two children were taken away. The arriving police officers said something to Mei Mei, then headed toward the Orphanage, no longer covered by the Curtain.

Suddenly, someone appeared in Shen Yuanyi's field of view. His eyes widened slightly as he carefully sized the person up: the same upward-swept white hair, a tall figure dressed in black clothes in the same style as Mei Mei's, and a handsome, refined face with sharply defined features. Layers of bandages covered his eyes.

Gojo Satoru! The strongest man in the Jujutsu World, one of the protagonists of Jujutsu Kaisen. As Gojo Satoru walked straight over, Mei Mei opened the car door and got out, then gestured for Shen Yuanyi to get out as well.

Gojo Satoru then placed a hand on the back of Shen Yuanyi's neck. Without seeming to make any grasping motion, he lifted Shen Yuanyi firmly into the air.

"We'll be going now!"

He said this to Mei Mei. Then, amid Mei Mei's call of "Don't forget my payment," the scenery before Shen Yuanyi's eyes changed in an instant. He could not tell how many times it had shifted, but in the next moment, he appeared in an unfamiliar place.
