Shrek entered the tournament determined to preserve its prestige and maintain its historic championship streak. Xuan Zi described the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy as Shrek’s sole true opponent, believing Shrek’s strength deterred the Sun Moon Empire from open war. 179

Despite its injured official team, Shrek advanced through the tournament. Ma Xiaotao led the representative team to victory over Di Ao Academy in the semifinals. 237

In the final against the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy, Shrek lost the seven-versus-seven team battle. Su Yu subsequently defeated all seven Shrek contestants in the individual elimination stage, including Ma Xiaotao, giving Sun Moon the championship. 247 248 255

Reputation Crisis and Exchange Program

Recruitment of Su Yu

Body Sect Attack and Xuan Zi’s Rampage

When the Body Sect came to retrieve Huo Yuhao, Du Busi attacked Shrek Academy after learning that Huo Yuhao had disappeared. He defeated Xuan Zi and Yan Shaozhe before Elder Lin and Elder Song intervened. 353

Later, Xuan Zi went mad under the influence of the Dark-Emperor Devourer and killed several academy experts before fleeing. Shrek lost two Super Douluo and five Titled Douluo, while Elder Song and Qian Duoduo suffered crippling injuries. 369
