Lin Nai sized up the two of them. Dr. Tesla and Einstein?

"Why are there children here?"

Tesla looked confused. "Shouldn't all the children here have been gathered together by the newly arrived Cocolia?"

Einstein tilted her head. "Dr. Tesla, that child's eyes are redder than yours."

"Let's notify Cocolia to come take them away," Einstein said.

"Bronya, just figure out a way to get those two over there away from danger!"

"Leave it to Bronya."

Bronya turned and ran toward Tesla and Einstein.

Kiana spun her twin pistols and unloaded a barrage at the Honkai Beast before her!

Then she drew the attention of the Tank-type Honkai Beast with one severed leg, buying Lin Nai time to charge up.

"Hey, what are you doing?! Run!!" Tesla immediately shouted anxiously when she saw Kiana charge forward.

"Kaslana."

Einstein stared deeply at Kiana, then turned to look at Lin Nai.

"Dr. Tesla, look!"

"Huh?"

Lin Nai spread his arms. After gathering a massive amount of photon energy above his head, he lowered into a horse stance and clenched his fists beside his head.

"Holy crap! What kind of energy is that? Honkai energy?!" Tesla shouted in shock.

Einstein showed an interested expression. "How fascinating..."

Bronya tilted her head. "Now is not the time to stand here watching..."

"It's fine, it's fine. The Honkai Beast hasn't come over yet." Tesla's eyes were filled with excitement.

As a scientist, she would always get excited upon discovering a new energy source.

Einstein tugged at Tesla. "Let's move farther away first."

That brought Tesla, who wanted to observe from up close, back to her senses. It really wasn't the best time to observe.

The two simply followed Bronya and moved farther away.

Tesla's eyes remained fixed on Lin Nai as he charged up.

That new energy...

Lin Nai remained crouched as an endless stream of energy gathered above his head.

A tuft of red hair shone with dazzling light.

"Kiana! Get back!"

"Okay!!"

When the light energy above his head formed an enormous red blade and could no longer be contained, Lin Nai stood and leaned back.

Then, as he nodded forward, he spread his arms and guided the blade of light to fire!

A thick crimson beam blasted out!!

The snow was blown wildly in every direction. Even from far away, everyone felt a fierce gust of wind!!

"Whoa! This move is still as ridiculously powerful as ever!!" Kiana relied on sheer determination to stand firmly in the snow.

Not far away, the three with average physical strength would have been sent flying if they hadn't clung tightly to a tree.

The beam struck the Honkai Beast, red marks continuously appearing across its body.

The entire Honkai Beast exploded, its fragments flying everywhere.
