The sight was so terrifying that everyone was struck speechless.
What control! What power! With a single touch, he had erased only the yellow from a blade of grass and left the green untouched.
A few people here could have silently crushed a blade of grass with one finger. But what Samlet had done was something else entirely. It bordered on the Dao.
"I lost."
Rommel had no objections. He bowed to Samlet and admitted defeat with all his heart.
Samlet looked at him, then raised a finger.
"Don't be discouraged. There's nothing to it but practice."
Chen Cheng could not help smiling at those words. He had said the same thing to Samlet years ago, when he was making firearms by hand in a cave.
He still remembered the surprise on Samlet's face when he saw how deftly Chen Cheng worked metal at the forge.
How was today any different?
"I've learned from you."
Rommel thanked him sincerely.
Samlet turned to Chen Cheng. As though nothing had happened, he said, "Your Highness, you're strong too. I know why you've come, and you've earned an introduction from me."
Sean was certainly no weakling. Chen Cheng had subdued him as easily as picking up a chick only because Chen Cheng was too strong.
Samlet then looked at Wisdom Shield. "Your Highness, you're unusual. I can't quite gauge your strength. The people you brought aren't much on their own, but together they're formidable. You've earned an introduction as well."
Samlet was not flattering Wisdom Shield. The Chaos Magic Wisdom Shield practiced was exceedingly rare, and one of its properties made his true strength difficult to discern.
Nor had Wisdom Shield been idle these past few years. He knew about every study conducted by the Magic Research Institute. With the entire institute behind
