Yet awkwardly enough, neither of them had shown any intention of getting married even now. There had not even been the slightest sign of it.

No one else dared to say anything, though. Noah and Hermione's identities were simply too special. No one stupid enough to carelessly spout nonsense about them existed.

Noah did know a little about these matters, which left him somewhat frustrated. It was not that he did not want to do anything; he was simply too busy, causing him to repeatedly miss certain opportunities.

But now, nearly everything had been resolved by Noah. Naturally, he did not intend to keep dragging things out. He planned to do what he should have done—for example, propose to the girl who had been by his side for so many years and whom he had known for more than forty years.

Mages had very, very long lifespans. Being in one's forties was truly still considered young. For a mage like Noah, even four hundred years old would probably count as young.

He had spent just forty years accomplishing what The Ancient One had taken over five hundred years to achieve. One could imagine just how terrifying Noah had become. But Noah did not want to hold up a girl's time.
