Background / History

Gu Yuena is the Silver Dragon King, one of the two beings formed when the Asura God split the Dragon God. Her half governs elements and life, with a yin attribute; the Golden Dragon King governs strength and destruction, with a yang attribute. Her original power reached the level of a First-Grade God 283 489 866.

She suffered severe wounds from the Asura God and spent much of her time slumbering to recover. Healing those wounds did not completely restore her strength. She eventually entered human society to understand its habits and power structures, while pursuing a route to godhood in a human body that would provoke less rejection from the Douluo Plane 488 623 787.

Her division produced Gu Yue as the primary personality and Na’er as the secondary personality. Na’er explains that memory loss followed this split and that her family later helped her recover her memories. Although Gu Yue and Na’er eventually reunited physically, their consciousnesses remained distinct and gradually became equal halves of the Silver Dragon King 434 489 518.

Gu Yue is proud, controlling, and strongly conscious of her authority as the Silver Dragon King. She prefers to direct events herself and dislikes showing weakness. Their contrasting temperaments persist after their reunion, leading to arguments over their shared body, decisions, and relationships 489 784 828.

Her responsibility toward the Soul Beast Clan takes precedence over a comfortable personal life. She considers reviving her people a duty she cannot abandon, even when she values her time with Nan Fusheng. Her goals extend beyond protecting surviving soul beasts: she intends to overturn human society and restore the Dragon Clan’s former glory 512 828.

She can restrain her anger when immediate retaliation would endanger her larger plans.
