Actual Origin

Lufa is one of Nan Fusheng’s four great clones. He and Fors spent most of their first three years after creation in Skysea City, giving a literal basis to their public claim that they grew up together. Among the clones, Lufa works the hardest; dividing his attention between cultivation, forging, and manufacturing initially leaves his Soul Power behind the others 225 316.

His publicly documented childhood is distinct from this actual origin. Nan Fusheng explicitly considers Lufa’s past to have been carefully arranged while supplying information about him under the identity of Smith 274.

Publicly Documented Childhood

Academy records identify Lufa as a Skysea City orphan whose parents, and the preceding three generations of his family, served as Federation soldiers. His parents supposedly died during a rescue operation involving a Soul Train hijacked by Evil Soul Masters. With no immediate family remaining, he entered Skysea Orphanage 177.

Smith’s account places Lufa’s first forging work at age six, when he needed money for a Soul Spirit. After the Blacksmith Association rejected him as too young, Smith employed him as an apprentice. He reportedly saved thirty thousand Federal Coins by eight, obtained a Soul Ring, and surpassed Smith’s skills by nine, prompting a recommendation to Kong Xuan 274.

Zhen Hua later investigates this background and objects that the child of fallen military personnel had entered an orphanage without receiving survivor benefits 275.

Appearance

• Hair and eyes: Short platinum-blond hair and matching platinum-colored pupils 232.
• Build and height: Stands approximately 1.6 meters tall during the class-monitor tournament and nearly 1.7 meters during his match against Dai Yueyan 174 355.
• Bearing: Handsome, cool, and composed. His conspicuous coloring becomes widely recognizable after his continent-wide broadcasts 226 303.
• Disguises: Uses a helmet to conceal his appearance when public recognition makes ordinary visits difficult 305.

Personality

Lufa is reserved, self-contained, and intensely focused on improving himself. Long Chen describes him as indifferent to external matters, while Zhen Hua worries that his constant studying leaves too little room for relaxation. Even immediately after an assassination attempt, Lufa returns to studying manufacturing notes 284 309.

His confidence can appear dismissive: he repeatedly tells weaker opponents to concede and treats an armed train hijacker with complete indifference. Nevertheless, he defends Kong Xuan’s reputation before Zhen Hua, supports Lin Yuhan when her innocence is questioned, and awkwardly offers Long Chen encouragement after a humiliating defeat 226 273 284 306 339 346.

Platinum Behemoth Bloodline

• His “error”-induced evolution strengthens the Behemoth’s already formidable claws and produces a bloodline fundamentally distinct from ordinary Behemoths 175.
• While standing on the earth, he can draw energy from it to recover and strengthen himself 175.
• Its presence suppresses Long Chen’s dragon bloodline so thoroughly that Dragon Power collapses during their first exchange 174.
• Its release also provokes Long Yue’s bloodline into a brief frenzy 339.
• Despite this bloodline, Gu Yue identifies Lufa as a pure human rather than a transformed Soul Beast 284.

Sun Moon Academy and the Soul Train Incident

Lufa chooses Sun Moon Imperial Soul Master Academy rather than Shrek Academy, explaining that he and Shenwei want better prospects of entering the Federation’s upper ranks. He establishes himself during the class-monitor tournament by defeating Long Chen in a single exchange without using his Martial Soul 130 174.

During the Soul Train crisis, he intervenes against the Evil Soul Masters and ultimately kills the Plague Messenger. Mo Wu and Mo Lan are astonished to learn that the Battle Armor Master who saved them is only the monitor of First Grade Class One 232 235 236.

Breaking Shrek’s Reputation

Lufa becomes central to Sun Moon Imperial Soul Master Academy’s victory over Shrek. He defeats Xie Xie, Tang Wulin, and Wu Siduo, then counters Gu Yue’s final elemental attack with his composite domain 281 283 284.

He subsequently overcomes an entire team of seven Shrek Battle Armor Masters. Ya Li intervenes to save several opponents and concedes for the final fighters; no other Shrek student accepts Lufa’s ensuing challenge. His public success at Soul Refinement makes him famous both as the fighter who shattered Shrek’s unbeaten reputation and as history’s youngest Saint Craftsman 290 293.

Zhen Hua’s Disciple

Lufa’s new reputation attracts military representatives, Spirit Pagoda recruiters, and other factions. Ao Hongchen and Zhen Hua limit their access so that he can continue studying, while Lufa makes known his intention to work with the Federation 302.

On a visit to Heaven Dou City, he defeats Lin Yuhan in forging and supports her innocence when Zhen Hua investigates the circumstances surrounding her challenge. He also instinctively strikes Zhen Hua out of danger during an assassination attempt. A subsequent Evil Soul Master ambush is stopped by Sun Moon Radiance and Dang Hongchen’s intervention 305 306 307 308.

Star Luo Exchange and Tournament

Lufa travels with the diplomatic mission to Star Luo Continent as Sun Moon Imperial Soul Master Academy’s representative captain. In the tournament, he debuts Heaven Treading Nine Steps against Hua Lantang, overwhelms Dai Yun’er, and defeats Dai Yueyan after Enci intervenes to protect the prince 316 339 343 346 355.

He wins the Individual Competition when Shenwei concedes their final. After receiving the trophy and Spirit Bone, Lufa remains behind under the stated purpose of forging battle armor components, helping facilitate Nan Fusheng’s separate Dragon Valley expedition 363 372.

God Craftsman and Federation Cooperation

With temporarily borrowed power, Lufa completes Heaven Forging and creates Big White Goose. Mu Chen and Ao Hongchen publicly confirm the achievement, establishing him as a God Craftsman before age twenty 438 439 441.

Continued forging becomes a cultivation method: he absorbs elemental tribulations, improves his body, and eventually reaches rank 95 while creating a nine-metal divine artifact. He then proposes deeper cooperation between the Blacksmith Association and the Federation, explicitly intending to give the War God Temple priority access to Four-word Battle Armor 549 776.

As a War God Temple guest elder, he spars with Jiang Zhanheng and demonstrates the defensive results of his fully mastered Innate Secret Method. He later serves as a witness rather than a contestant at the Martial Arts Matchmaking Convention, announcing that his role is to ensure fairness and transparency 802 831.
