Background

Chi Kingdom is the leading power on the East Continent and the only regional hegemon described as capable of confronting the Platinum Federation directly. Its stability, order, and comparatively cooperative foreign policy are regarded as exceptional among neighboring states affected by warlordism and outside intervention 506.

Its political center is Red Capital. The Imperial Clan, whose members bear the surname Xia, occupies a core place in the kingdom’s upper echelon; Xia Mingyuan serves as both a General Council Representative and Chief Commander of the External Defense Department 257 429.

Yaoguang City is one of Chi Kingdom’s Central Cities and is tied to the Yaoguang Secret Realm, where the Yaoguang Revolution began roughly 120 years earlier. The realm entered Chi Kingdom territory nearly forty years before the events surrounding its migration 257 264.

The kingdom exercises strict control over strategically dangerous secret realms. It barred super enterprises from entering the Heaven River Secret Realm after some sought cooperation with Platinum Federation financial groups; Chi Kingdom’s first Divine General was born there 382.

It also recognizes that Black Tide incidents can originate from ancient space-anchor points and damaged civilization-era containment facilities rather than conventional invasions 429.

• Lou Yue Country — Chi Kingdom jointly explores and secures a Lou Yue secret realm containing Ancient Civilization Ruins. Its military intervention prevented Lou Yue forces from escalating a confrontation around the realm 502 506.
• Nido Country — Chi Kingdom stationed forces in Nido and intervened during the royal-palace coup against Princess Elinor. Nido subsequently strengthened cooperation with Chi Kingdom and aligned with it during the conflict with the Federation 507 509 614.
• Ancient Empire — Chen Feng’s intervention and later cooperation with the Ancient Empire created a strategic connection between Chi Kingdom’s leading martial force and the Empire’s Sacred-level leadership 571 572.

Major Arcs

Black Tide Crisis and Nanjiang Reconstruction

Black Tide attacks placed Red Capital on high alert and devastated Nanjiang. Chi Kingdom’s upper echelon recognized Chen Feng as a meritorious contributor for his actions during the disaster, while various local factions cooperated in the city’s reconstruction 426.

Red Capital later awarded Chen Feng the rank of Major General and a First Class Star Medal, alongside military privileges and resources 429.

Lou Yue Secret Realm Intervention

When a secret realm surfaced in Lou Yue, Chi Kingdom rapidly deployed Nangong Ling, Red General Guard personnel, Flying Generals, aircraft, and ground forces. It reached an agreement with Lou Yue to jointly explore and defend the ruins rather than allow the Platinum Federation to monopolize them 502 506.

Platinum Federation Negotiations

Red Capital requested Chen Feng’s protection for a delegation sent to recover the wanted official Han Mingchuan from the Platinum Federation. The delegation faced intimidation, propaganda-driven hostility, ambushes, and attacks by Federation Legends in Black Harbor City 516 526 535.

Chi Kingdom refused to yield under military pressure. Its warships and border forces backed the delegation, forcing the Federation to withdraw a Suppression Battleship and eventually hand Han Mingchuan over 529 530 548.

War with the Platinum Federation

The Federation later launched a surprise assault on Yaoguang City, destroying its Star Ring Device and overwhelming local defenders 585. With Chi Kingdom’s Divine Beings unavailable, Red Capital asked Chen Feng to become the temporary Southern Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, granting him authority over the southern military and Red General Guard 589.

Chi Kingdom’s fleet subsequently shifted from defense to counterattack, destroying Federation warships and demonstrating that its military was not substantially weaker than its rival’s 601.

Postwar Ascendancy

Following the Federation’s defeat, Chi Kingdom became Earth Star’s dominant power, with the Federation forced to concede and Nido reaffirming its alliance with Chi Kingdom 613 614.
