Background / History
Wu Liang is a transmigrator who awakened in the body of the original six-year-old Wu Liang in Holy Soul Village. The original child was a taboo existence whose life had been limited to five years; his father sacrificed himself so the child could be born, while the original host later spent all of his points to extend his life by one additional year. After the original soul dissipated, Wu Liang became the host of the DNF Sign-In System and inherited Sky City, Kanna, Segghardt, and its defenses. 1
His heritage remained unclear to him for much of his early life. He later revealed that his mother had been a million-year Phoenix who died under a lightning tribulation after giving birth to him. Seria eventually explained that his father was a Golden Crow—the first son of Di Jun and the first sun—while Wu Liang himself remained human under Douluo’s laws, carrying both Golden Crow and Phoenix bloodlines. 82 252 253
After awakening Tyrant Barak and his native Heavenly Phoenix Facing the Sun Flower Martial Soul, Wu Liang became Master Yu Xiaogang’s disciple alongside Tang San. He helped Master evolve Luo San Pao into a Golden Sacred Dragon and used Golden Sacred Dragon Blood to repair Master’s innate defect and raise his aptitude. 7 23
Wu Liang later entered Shrek Academy, where his overwhelming swordsmanship, Sky City resources, and system powers made him a central force among the students. He organized training, equipped allies with Soul Bones and weapons, negotiated Sky City’s relationship with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and defended his companions against Martial Soul Hall interference. 104 118 135 216
His system repeatedly sent him into other worlds. In the merged supernatural world, he became Uncle Nine’s personal disciple and Mount Mao’s nineteenth-generation successor; in later worlds, he accumulated cultivation methods, laws, engineering knowledge, and allies. 177 284 290
Appearance
Wu Liang initially appears as a six-year-old boy. Following his Sun God inheritance and Phoenix bloodline awakening, his appearance gains increasingly inhuman solar traits. 1 130 225
- Black-gold long hair after restoring his hair through Soul Power. 131
- Eyes whose dark portions resemble miniature suns. 131
- A sun symbol on his brow and wing-like tattoos on his arms. 131
- A visible sun mark and sun-fire effects when actively stimulating his Phoenix bloodline. 225
- Often carries a half-meter sword case at his waist, capable of storing numerous swords. 68
Personality
Wu Liang is composed and unusually mature from the moment of his transmigration, adapting quickly to his new body, system, and world. He is confident in dangerous situations, including when facing Dugu Bo and Qian Daoliu, but tends to use blunt teasing, threats, or mockery against opponents he considers unreasonable. 1 64 117
He is notably lazy outside cultivation, often sleeping or lounging when left alone. Master describes him as contradictory: playful and unmotivated while resting, yet intensely focused once he begins training. 94 167
Despite his flippancy, Wu Liang is protective and attentive toward his companions. He provides food, equipment, cultivation resources, medical treatment, and practical advice; he also values his followers as people rather than disposable servants. 17 103 118

Sword Intent and Domains
Wu Liang’s Sword Intent grew from Ego-less Sword Qi and later became a defining part of his combat style. 74 205
