In the laboratory, Isaac sat in a chair, deep in thought, his fingers tapping lightly on a sheet of draft paper listing his next three main research directions.

The first was naturally the analysis of Miracle: God Sealing. He was still working toward automating the manufacture of Virtual Divine Sparks through a Miracle Ritual. If he truly completed this research, the day the ritual became a reality would be the day Isaac became a Great Wizard!

The second was the creation of the Divine Tome.

The Divine Tome was another product of Miracle: God Sealing besides the Virtual Divine Spark. It could form contracts with gods, allowing their powers to be used unconditionally, and even borrow the powers of contracted gods to bind and enslave other gods!

It was a perfect example of using gods to control gods!

Although, after the emergence of Miracle Domination, the Divine Tome's abilities seemed less important.

After all, the virtual deities bound by Miracle Domination were no different from ordinary gods of the same tier, though such rare creatures as fourth-tier gods were practically nonexistent in this world...

Still, that did not make much difference. The Divine Tome could not control gods of a higher tier anyway. Forming a contract with a god whose tier exceeded Isaac's was extremely risky, unless the god making the contract was a true god.

But given Isaac's status as a Mad Witch whom everyone despised, even a true god answering his ritual would count as an outpouring of divine grace. Signing a contract?

Absolutely impossible!

Isaac did at least have some self-awareness about that.
