Prince Noens's face darkened at Isaac's words. "Then let's try it," he said gravely. "Show me what makes you so confident!"
With that, an enormous purple divine figure rose beside him. It, too, was a Fourth Tier High Knight. Though its aura was slightly weaker than Noens's, it was still far stronger than a subpar Fourth Tier like Isaac's father, who had only recently advanced and had little in the way of an inherited tradition.
In fact, this was one of the main reasons his elder brother Caesar had chosen to reconcile with the Terra Royal Family. He simply could not beat them. No matter how much potential he had, it was still only potential. Not everyone was a lunatic like Isaac, capable of rapidly converting potential into actual strength.
Isaac, however, merely glanced at the knight before looking away. A Fourth Tier knight was a formidable enemy for Caesar and the others, but to him, that was about it.

The man wore black robes and a black hood that concealed his face in shadow: standard villain attire. There were no distinctive magical elements about him, and his magical aura alone offered no clue as to his school.
His strength, however, was considerable. Single-handedly, he linked the city's thirteen Mage Towers, pouring enormous amounts of magic power into the defensive barrier without pause. Nor was he simply strengthening the barrier with magic power. The magical light constantly flashing across it represented one spell effect after another layered onto its surface!
Isaac certainly could not cast so many spells while controlling such immense magic power. This was a gap in technique, something that required time to develop.
