Elsewhere, although she was also a Witch, Rona's path had been far less smooth than Anjie's, who relied entirely on "herself." Advancing from Dragon's Son to Dragon Mother was still exceedingly difficult, even though Isaac had helped her meet a whole series of prerequisites.
But for Witches, having everything prepared was not always enough. Their bloodlines were simply too stubborn, a perfect example of sweetness first and bitterness later. That was why the [Dragon Egg] had taken so many years to hatch.
Fortunately, with Isaac's help, Rona had still found an entirely new solution—a Small World.
The [Dragon Egg] was a gift from a Small World, a substitute for a great deed. After all, Arcane Masters could not obtain great deeds and could only receive rewards in this form. After studying it, Isaac discovered that the problem was not that the [Dragon Egg] could not hatch, but that it could not hatch as a [Dragon's Son]!
Its potential was insufficient. Even in a magical world, conservation of energy still mattered.
Once he had identified the problem, the solution naturally followed. If there was not enough energy, they simply needed to supply it.
Isaac's proposed solution was to find a Small World capable of producing at least fifth-tier powerhouses, set up a ritual in a suitable location, and pick up some world source force that nobody wanted.
But world source force was not that easy to pick up. In most Small Worlds, even with Isaac's ritual helping them successfully stea—pick up world source force, they would still suffer tremendous backlash.
To do it safely, they needed to find a generous Small World, such as the uniquely structured world containing the Sanctum and the Abyssal Depths. Although it was a single world, its specific rules made it seem like two separate worlds,
