A letter requesting aid----
A year ago, the Abyss campaign had begun with great fanfare. Nearly all the high-ranking knights of the Main World had taken part, and Caesar was naturally no exception.
Isaac had actually supported this, because he knew it was a necessary path if the Solomon Empire wanted to develop. Thus, when his eldest brother Caesar had come to seek his opinion, he had decisively offered his support.
After all, knights were different from wizards. Their extraordinary power could only grow through tempering in blood and fire, and there was no place more suitable than the Abyss. Battle raged there every moment, and the enemies ranged from First Tier to Fifth Tier, with even Sixth Tier ones present!
There was no better place to grow.
However----
It seemed something had gone wrong----
Isaac narrowed his eyes as he read the letter.
The letter had been sent by his eldest sister. It said that his eldest brother Caesar had gone an entire month without sending back any news!
This Abyss campaign was an enormous operation launched by the Demigod Council, intended to create a Knight King. Preparations in every respect had therefore been exceptionally thorough, including communications.
Under normal circumstances, it was impossible to communicate with the Main World from within the Abyss. However, Demigod wizards had acted this time. Though the cost of maintaining communications was rather high, they remained unobstructed.
At least, that was the case in occupied territories. The price was still too great, so aside from the main campaign forces, the various other large and small factions only received one free chance to communicate every half month.
This also allowed for more flexible adjustments to tactical plans.
And a full month without any communication meant that Caesar had fallen into some dangerous situation and
