Looking at the guild clerk smiling at him, Shien pondered for a moment before speaking.

"Excuse me, what is the procedure to become an adventurer?"

Shien asked the question.

Yes, Shien was preparing to become an adventurer.

As a newcomer, he needed to make a living in this world, and becoming an adventurer seemed like an unavoidable path.

Therefore, Shien planned to try being an adventurer first before continuing with his subsequent plans.

They first appeared a thousand years ago, just as the wars of that era had come to an end.

To heal the various damages caused by the war, the various races, suffering from a shortage of manpower, saw the emergence of such people who would accept payment to contribute their efforts to those who commissioned various tasks.

After a thousand years of development, these people became the adventurers of today.

To this day, adventurers were a common sight throughout Omnipotens and were a group relied upon by the upper echelons of every nation, enjoying the deep trust of the people.

The Adventurer's Guild was the organization to which these adventurers belonged. It was responsible for managing adventurers and accepting commissions from various places and factions, screening these requests, categorizing them by difficulty, and providing them for adventurers to choose from.

In every city and town across the world, there was at least one branch of the Adventurer's Guild. The guild's headquarters was located in the capital of the Kingdom of Mithra, the birthplace of adventurers. This Kingdom of Mithra was the nation to which Lamigium, where Shien currently resided, belonged, and it was also the largest known nation.

Shien wanted to know more about this country, but the clerk didn't seem to have any intention of explaining further.

Furthermore, Shien felt an urge to ask about the "wars of a thousand years ago" and the "various races" the clerk had mentioned.

Of course, as for the latter, Shien wasn't entirely ignorant.

Ever since he entered the town of Lamigium, Shien had seen all sorts of incredible beings along the way.

There were Beastfolk with animal ears and tails.

There were Dwarves, who were stout and short in stature.

There were even Elves with pointed ears and exceptionally striking appearances.

These races, which had only existed in the legends of his previous life, now appeared naturally in the town. Even in this Adventurer's Guild, he could see quite a few of them mingling harmoniously with humans, a scene truly filled with a dreamlike atmosphere.

One must also reach at least Level Seventy—no, Level Ten—to meet the requirements to become an adventurer."

"There are also ranks among adventurers."

"Adventurers at Level Ten or above are First-Class Adventurers and will be awarded the Black Iron First-Class Junior Medal by the Adventurer's Guild."

"Adventurers at Level Twenty or above are Second-Class Adventurers and will be awarded the Bronze Second-Class Intermediate Medal by the Adventurer's Guild."

"Adventurers at Level Thirty or above are Third-Class Adventurers and will be awarded the Silver Third-Class Senior Medal by the Adventurer's Guild."

"Adventurers at Level Forty or above are Fourth-Class Adventurers and will be awarded the Gold Fourth-Class Top Medal by the Adventurer's Guild."

"Adventurers at Level Fifty or above are Fifth-Class Adventurers and will be awarded the Platinum Fifth-Class Special Medal by the Adventurer's Guild."

"Adventurers at Level Sixty or above are Sixth-Class Adventurers and will be awarded the Mithril Sixth-Class Famous Medal by the Adventurer's Guild."

"Adventurers at Level Seventy or above are Seventh-Class Adventurers and will be awarded the Obsidian Seventh-Class Honor Medal by the Adventurer's Guild."

"Theoretically, Seventh-Class Adventurers are the highest-ranking adventurers. Even within our Adventurer's Guild, which spans the globe, there are only thirty-three adventurers of this rank. Among them, four have even reached Level Eighty or above, and there is one who is over Level Ninety. Even though they are publicly known as Seventh-Class Adventurers and possess the Obsidian Seventh-Class Honor Medal, the status of these five is different from other Seventh-Class Adventurers. They are treated with great hospitality by nations around the world; some have even been granted honorary noble titles, sometimes accepting national-level commissions that could decide the fate of a country, or receiving direct commissions from royal families, enjoying immense fame."

"Our Adventurer's Guild welcomes anyone to join and looks forward to everyone being active on the world stage as adventurers. As long as you are not someone who has lost their 'Blessing,' we will never refuse you."

Hearing this, Shien raised an eyebrow.

This so-called "Blessing" was another intriguing term.

The clerk, unaware of what Shien was thinking, took out an item and placed it on the counter.

It was a tool that looked like a small globe without a map, with a crystal suspended above it.

"This is a Magic Tester. It has the same effect as a Level Six Appraisal skill. It can detect the level of individuals below Level Seventy and can also detect skills below Level Seven. Seeing this, the clerk smiled slightly, then shifted her gaze to the text floating above the Magic Tester.

Upon seeing it, the clerk froze.
