Background / History

Merika grew up in the Elven Village alongside Geno, her childhood friend of more than a century. The two learned magic together, but Geno consistently advanced first, prompting Merika to leave the village and seek experience elsewhere rather than remain behind her friend. Her deeper aim was to become independent instead of living under Geno's protection. 519 524

She became the mage of Vivian's Squad, where her exceptional magical aptitude compensated for her ordinary physical ability.
