"What the hell are you talking about?!"
Peter Quill had yet to recover from watching Arale fall from the sky completely unharmed when he heard Kraft's seemingly flippant condition.
"Arale might be strong, but Ego is a whole planet!"
Meanwhile, Ego felt a surge of anger too.
"Are you toying with me?!"
Arale's appearance was far too deceptive. Ego simply couldn't imagine her punch carrying much force. Coupled with the unease Kraft's mysterious behavior had caused him earlier, it left him feeling humiliated and angry.
"Don't underestimate my little sister. She's really strong."
Kraft patted Arale's little head and put on a theatrical sigh.
"Yo-ho-ho! My big brother praised me!"
Arale threw both hands up and laughed happily.
"Enough! I'm not interested in playing your stupid games anymore! All of you, die!"
The siblings' playful attitude sent Ego into an absolute rage. Abandoning any thought of recruiting Kraft, he made several enormous tentacles of blue light burst through the ground and writhe menacingly behind him.
"Aww... not cool at all."
Arale glanced at the tentacles, which had nothing going for them except their colors and lighting effects, and delivered her verdict.
"Stop fooling around! Kraft, whatever tricks you've got, use them already!"
Peter Quill drew his Element Gun and repeatedly fired at Ego, only for the tentacles to block every shot with ease. He couldn't help shouting at Kraft and Arale, who were still critiquing the tentacles.
"Arale is my trick..." Kraft shrugged, then patted Arale's little head. "Over to you, Arale."
"Okaaay!"
Arale answered with boundless enthusiasm, then crouched down, raised her little fist, and lightly tapped the ground.
Crack.
A tiny fissure appeared beneath Arale's fist, then rapidly spread in both directions.
Crack, crack, crack, crack, crack...
The relentless cracking sounds receded in opposite directions along the fissure.
