A figure wreathed in flames streaked across the skies over New York, flew above Chinatown, and plunged toward Kraft's home.

Johnny slammed into the ground, landing on one knee in Kraft's backyard. The shock wave from his landing kicked up a huge cloud of dust.
"Hmm-hmm~ Hmm-hmm~ Hmm... eek!"
Alice, who had been humming as she tended the flowers and plants in the backyard, jumped in fright when the Human Torch dropped out of the sky. She raised her watering can in front of herself and warily studied the uninvited guest.
Bea, the little black cat lounging in the sunshine at her feet, bristled all over, arched her back, and growled at the intruder.
Johnny Storm extinguished his flames and stood up. His eyes immediately fell on Alice, who was staring blankly at him, and lit up. He had never dated a sweet, adorably innocent girl like her before. That made her quite a refreshing prospect.
In less than half a second, Johnny decided that finding Kraft could wait. He would hit on a girl first.
He brushed back the bangs on his forehead, then flashed a classic sunny-boy smile. "Hello, beauti-"
"Aaaaaah! It's a home invasion!"
After staring dumbly for quite some time, Alice suddenly clutched her cheeks and screamed.
"Huh? No... wait, this is a misunderstanding..."
Johnny hurried to explain, only to see a flash of light envelop the black cat wearing a Red Scarf beside the cute girl. A layer of sleek, high-tech black armor covered her body.
"Die, meow!"
Bea shot toward Johnny Storm like a black arrow. Caught completely off guard, he took a swipe to the thigh from the little black cat, leaving three long gashes that streamed red blood.
"Aah! You damn cat!"
