Time Machines were a staple of all kinds of science fiction, so ever since learning that he could dream of Tom and Jerry, Kraft had wondered whether he might someday dream of a Time Machine from some science fiction novel.
And now, here it was!

Senbei Norimaki had named his Time Machine the "Time Skateboard." It consisted of two main parts: the Time Clock and the Slide Board.
There wasn't much to say about the Slide Board. It was simply a platform for the Time Clock to use when traveling through time.
The Time Clock, meanwhile, was a little robot shaped like an alarm clock. On its back was a rotary dial like those on old telephones, used to set how far through time one wanted to travel. To travel five hundred years, one dialed five hundred, then pressed down or pulled up the button on its head. Pressing it sent the traveler into the past; pulling it sent them into the future.
With a Time Machine, Kraft only needed to go back eight years to uncover what had really happened with the Viper Gang.
