History

Qian Renxue's Capture and the Neutrality Pact

After Qian Renxue was captured in Ai City while disguised as Heaven Dou Crown Prince Xue Qinghe, Spirit Hall's leadership argued over whether to send a rescue force. Bibi Dong initially considered Qian Renxue safe as Ai City's bargaining chip, while Qian Daoliu's faction pushed for action 11.

Guang Ling, Qian Jun, and Jiang Mo infiltrated Ai City to extract Qian Renxue, but Aiven's forces defeated and captured all three elders 13 14 16. To secure their release, Qian Renxue swore that Spirit Hall would neither retaliate against Ai City nor interfere with Aiven's development while her Xue Qinghe identity remained secret 16.

Growing Hostility Toward Aiven Kingdom

Spirit Hall initially refused requests from Heaven Dou and Star Luo to join a war against Aiven Kingdom, prioritizing Qian Renxue's infiltration of the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace 53 55 56.

Aiven Kingdom's rapid recruitment of Soul Master sects and families eventually forced Bibi Dong to accelerate Spirit Hall's plans. She ordered Qian Renxue to eliminate Emperor Xue Ye and seize Heaven Dou's throne, while moving the infiltration plan and Soul Hunt Operation forward by five years 67.

Battle of Pope's Hall

Before the Soul Master Competition Finals, Spirit Hall secretly recalled Titled Douluo and Soul Saint-level personnel to Pope's Hall in preparation for an attack on Aiven 93 94.

After Aiven Kingdom Academy won the competition, Bibi Dong awarded the promised six Ten Thousand Year Soul Bones, then declared Spirit Hall's sanctions against Aiven Kingdom on behalf of the Soul Master World 115. Spirit Hall used allegations of forced recruitment and disruption of Soul Master order as its pretext for war 115.

The battle escalated into a large-scale Titled Douluo conflict. Spirit Hall fielded its elder corps and enshriners, while Aiven revealed previously hidden generals 119 120. The fighting killed the Ninth Elder, Jin Gui Douluo, and Ghost Douluo, but Angel God's divine consciousness intervened through Qian Renxue before either faction could completely destroy the other 123 127.

Founding of the Spirit Hall Empire

Following the battle, Spirit Hall initiated the Soul Hunt Operation. Its forces launched nighttime raids against the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, wiping out the former and killing roughly eighty percent of the latter's disciples 130.

Spirit Hall formally established the Spirit Hall Empire three months later. It used two subordinate kingdoms of Star Luo and Heaven Dou's Balak Kingdom as its territorial foundation 131.

As Heaven Dou collapsed into civil war, Spirit Hall, Aiven Kingdom, and Star Luo each seized its territory and forces. Qian Renxue incorporated the Heaven Dou troops under Xue Qinghe's control into the Spirit Hall Empire 131. The eventual fall of Heaven Dou left the continent divided among the Aiven Empire, Spirit Hall Empire, and Star Luo Empire 137.

Fall of Spirit City

During the final war, the Spirit Hall Empire abandoned its remaining territory and concentrated its army, Soul Masters, defensive arrays, and surviving elders in Spirit City. Its objective was to delay Aiven's advance until Qian Renxue completed the Angel God's trials 214 215.

Qian Daoliu sacrificed his life to open the Angel God Inheritance Gate, allowing Qian Renxue to enter her final trial 216. The sacrifice did not prevent the invasion: Aiven Empire forces stormed Spirit City, rapidly defeated the defending Titled Douluo, and seized the city 217.

Preservation Under Aiven Empire

Aiven later revived Qian Daoliu and chose not to erase Spirit Hall. He requested that it help govern the unified continent, noting that its original purpose had been preserving public order and serving common Soul Masters before it developed expansionist ambitions 225.

Spirit Hall remained an influential institution after the continent's unification. The Qian Family continued controlling it, while elder-level powerhouses such as Snake Lance, Pufferfish, Mighty Lion, and Ghost Leopard remained among its defenders 366.
