Governance and Divine Hierarchy

Before Aiven's conquest, the God Realm was jointly governed by the Five Great God-Kings: the Asura God, God of Destruction, God of Evil, Goddess of Life, and God of Kindness. They served as God Realm Enforcers and oversaw the realm collectively. 139

Although the realm formally presented gods as equals, divine rank continued to affect treatment and authority; Second-Class Gods showed substantially greater respect to Qian Renxue after learning that she was a First-Class Angel God. 249

Laws and Enforcement

Gods are ordinarily forbidden from interfering in Mortal Realm affairs or descending without authorization. These restrictions exist because unrestrained divine intervention could bring disaster to the Mortal Realm. 69 249

Gods commonly leave a strand of divine consciousness in the Mortal Realm before ascending. The Angel God's consciousness intervened through Qian Renxue despite the restriction, openly dismissing the violation of God Realm rules. 127

The Asura God was the highest law enforcer and the strongest human God-King under the former system. His authority included the God Realm Enforcement Team. 69 265

History

Former Order

The Asura God established the City of Slaughter as an alternate space in the Mortal Realm. Though it was his territory, the God Realm's non-interference rule ostensibly prevented him from openly intervening against intruders. 69

The Five Great God-Kings became concerned when Aiven forged a Super Artifact and developed a Divine Hall that could gather and convert Faith Power. They concluded that he could condense a God King-level godhood and become a major threat to the existing order. 198 235

Twenty Second-Class Gods later descended to Ai City and offered Aiven a choice of Second-Class divine positions. The offer was presented as recognition of his talent, but Aiven later exposed it as an attempt to prevent his ascent as a God-King. 250 329

Escalation with Aiven

After the God of Speed was killed, the River God framed Aiven for the murder. Aiven retaliated against the River God, while the God Realm sent the Enforcement Team to arrest him rather than investigate the accusation. 254 265

Aiven fused with the Human Emperor Godhood and became a God-King. He then elevated his hundred Three Kingdoms Generals into gods without the God Realm detecting the ascensions. 256 272

God Realm War

Aiven's forces infiltrated the God Realm from its outer edge, while Lu Bu created a diversion that drew the God-Kings' attention away from God's Forbidden Ground. 280 281

Aiven and Qian Renxue broke the Golden Dragon King's seal, causing the entire God Realm to mobilize toward God's Forbidden Ground. At the same time, Aiven's divine generals launched their full-scale invasion. 283 285

The conflict developed into the God Realm's second great war. Aiven's faction fought the God Realm's gods, divine officials, and God-Kings, while Gu Yuena ultimately evolved into the Dragon God. 302 306

Aiven later manifested his Three Kingdoms God form, defeated the Asura God with a single punch, and overwhelmed the remaining God-Kings and their forces. 323 324

Unification and Reform

After the God of Speed's revival confirmed Aiven's innocence, the surviving gods accepted Aiven's authority. He executed the River God, declared himself sole ruler, and replaced the Five Great God-Kings' joint governance with the office of God Realm Master. 329 330

At the Hall of Gods, Aiven formally took the highest divine seat and received the homage of the realm's gods and divine officials. 332

Aiven subsequently reopened the path to godhood for soul beasts. Beast Gods are again accepted, though they remain subject to the God Realm's laws and administration. 333

Post-War Developments

• The God of Evil and Goddess of Kindness left the God Realm to reincarnate and continue their wager. 330 333
• The Goddess of Life relinquished her godhood to Ye Lingling, who became the second-generation Life God King. 330 333
• Xiao Guang later became the first soul beast to successfully cultivate into a god under the reformed order, inheriting the Light Dragon King divine position. 400
