"It's over!" Mu En slowly raised his hand.
"Over?" Evan looked puzzled. "I don't know what your child is doing either, but it shouldn't be over yet."
Mu En slightly raised his hand and waved it before Evan's eyes, instantly making him stare in shock.
To him, the night now looked as bright as day.
At the same time, he saw—
"That sword?!"
Far behind Kerry, a greatsword hidden in the darkness floated in the air.
"He used the Levitation Charm on the sword. Now, the sword has been concealed by the night," Mu En said slowly.
"Since Pete had been casting spells from his hands the whole time, all of Kerry's attention was focused on him.
"And with the wand seized from the cloth bag, Pete's casting capability will rise another level."
Mu En also looked somewhat impressed. When had Harry noticed that cloth bag?
Had Harry seen Kerry put the wand he obtained from the goblins into the bag back outside Moonlight Castle?
Or had he noticed it when Kerry took his bow and arrows from the dragon saddle?
For his first battle, he had displayed such observation skills.
Not bad.
Just as Mu En had expected, Harry slowly waved his wand.
"Sword Come!"
Poor Kerry was still staring intently in Harry's direction, warily watching his wand, with no idea what sort of spell it might unleash.
Mu En raised his hand, aimed at the two people in the sky, and clenched it fiercely. In the air, something like membranous threads seemed to spill from between his fingers.
"Stasis—"
The two people and dragon in the sky suddenly froze!
The dragon's flapping wings, the broom's flight, even the slightest glance and smile on the two boys' faces—all of it abruptly stopped.
As though time itself had been paused.
The group slowly flew into the sky. Mu En released the spell on the two children, and just as Kerry was about to say something, Evan pressed a hand down on his head.
"You brat, you lost. Don't move!"
As he spoke, he gently turned Kerry around.
The enormous Blue Steel Longsword from earlier was less than half a meter away from him. Just looking at it, one could sense how much force it had carried.
Kerry nervously swallowed, then glanced at Harry again before lowering his head helplessly. "I lost."
Harry sat on his broom and shook his head. "I was just lucky. Without this wand, I definitely couldn't have cast Accio."
"Don't be modest. You must have planned from the start to get this wand from me." Kerry waved his hand. "A loss is a loss. It's not like I won't admit it."
As they returned to the ground, Kerry was, unsurprisingly, teased by all the others.
Mu En patted Harry on the head and praised him. "Kid, well done. Your thinking was very clear."
Harry was delighted and looked up. "Uncle Mu En, did you fight like that in the past too?"
"No." Mu En shook his head and smiled.
"I basically only needed one move."
"One move was enough..."
Harry took off his glasses and rubbed his somewhat dry eyes. Whenever he recalled those words, he felt terrified.
Only now did he understand what Uncle Mu En had once told him.
"You aren't a wizard yet, so you worry about me.
"Once you become a wizard, you'll understand that worrying about me is the most unnecessary thing in the world."
Winter gave way to spring. Since the Christmas break, the spring term and summer term had both passed.
He had now successfully graduated from St. George's Primary School.
Harry stretched, then left his room and began his routine cleaning. He had to keep insects or rats from breeding in the unoccupied parts of the castle.
There might even be fox fairies.
Downstairs, Lucifer looked at Harry curiously. "You're going to Hogwarts this year, right?"
"Yeah." Harry nodded, anticipation and unease in his eyes.
He wondered how much magic those children born into wizarding families had learned already, and Harry was a little worried.
Those people had been exposed to magic since childhood. They were nothing like a half-baked wizard such as himself.
Whenever he thought about it, he felt as if warning sirens were spinning in his head, urging him to hurry up and study.
"Scary." Harry shook his head and muttered to himself, deciding that after finishing the cleaning, he would organize the notes he had taken over the past year and make a study plan for the holiday.
Deep in the Scottish Highlands, amid lush green mountain meadows, stood a massive castle.
Spells surrounded the castle, and no one knew its exact location. Those without admission qualifications simply could not enter.
At that moment, on the castle's third-floor corridor, a stern-faced woman in dark green robes and a pointed wizard's hat was striding forward.
Hogwarts was especially empty during the holidays. The sound of her heels striking the stone floor echoed continuously through the corridor.
Along the way, some of the castle's portraits had intended to greet the old professor who had worked for Hogwarts for decades, but upon noticing her stern expression, they lowered their hands again.
The woman hurried to the end of the third-floor west corridor and spoke to a gargoyle statue in the castle. "Honeydukes!"
A rumbling sound arose as the stone beast statue slowly opened, revealing an entrance. It also greeted her, "Welcome, Professor McGonagall."
"Thank you." Professor McGonagall casually thanked it before entering the spiral staircase within.
Before long, as the staircase slowly spiraled upward, Professor McGonagall arrived at the castle's seventh floor.
"Albus!" Professor McGonagall called urgently before she had even passed through the curtain outside the office.
Albus Dumbledore sat behind his desk reading a copy of the Daily Prophet. Upon hearing Professor McGonagall's voice, he turned around, looking somewhat puzzled.
"Minerva, weren't you handling the new students' letters? What happened?"
"There's a problem with one of the letters!" Professor McGonagall braced one hand against the desk and held out the yellow envelope in her other hand.
"It's regarding Harry Potter."
At those words, Dumbledore's expression also turned serious. He pushed up his glasses, accepted the letter, and gently waved his hand. "Minerva, don't panic. Sit down and rest first."
As he spoke, he looked at the letter as well.
"The owl refused to send it. At first, I didn't know why, but later I discovered that the problem was with the address!" Professor McGonagall said.
At that moment, Dumbledore also noticed the issue with the address on the envelope.
"Number 13, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey ισοТПЪЩШ—Mr. Harry Potter."
"This is?!" Dumbledore frowned slightly, his expression gradually becoming grave.
Yet before he could inspect it closely, the ink on the envelope writhed again and changed into different words.
"Deep within the Krelan Mountains, St. Wolfgang, Munich, Germany èёпцфпъαμсё—Mr. Harry Potter."
"Harry's address keeps switching between those two places, and the precise locations can't be traced. Clearly, someone has interfered with the magic of the Book of Admissions!" Professor McGonagall said.
Dumbledore set down the letter. "Minerva, there's no need to worry. It seems our little Boy Who Lived has run into some trouble.
"How about this? Go back and handle the other new students' affairs first. Don't worry. I'll take care of this letter myself!"
