After learning that the Houtu Tribe had suffered a demon attack during his fifty-year absence, he helped its survivors before setting out for Buzhou Mountain and Zixiao Palace’s teachings.

• The Primordial Great Dao named Li Ping'an his son, gave him an imprint and mantras, and sent him into the wilderness, where Luohu invited him to join the demonic path.
• Li Wuyang befriended Huaihuai, Yingying, Little Fire, and Jinbao while traveling through the wilderness, and he earned the trust of Hou Yuan and the Houtu Tribe.
• At Myriad Spirits Market, Li Wuyang defeated a group of demons with his axe, then stole an azure pearl and escaped the pursuing Daoist Master Xuanhe and Myriad Treasures Tower experts.

After gaining a living Breathing Soil companion and building a reputation there, Li Wuyang prepared to enter the Sea of Falling Stars in search of a way home and clues about his missing friends.

• Li Wuyang defeated Golden Suan King, took his valuables, and reached Zixiao Palace, where his bronze compass and cushion helped him gain insight during Hongjun’s sermon.
• Taishang Laozu gave Li Wuyang a Nine-Revolutions Purple-Gold Pill, and Xuan intervened when Taiyi threatened him.
• After Li Wuyang and Xuan helped Witch Clan survivors, they entered a ruined realm where Xuan claimed the Devouring Demon God’s origin crystal and revealed her incomplete origin as the Myriad Manifestations Annihilation Demon God.
• Four factions pursued Li Wuyang and Xuan, and their escape through spacetime turbulence scattered Huaihuai, Little Fire, Yingying, and Jinbao across time and space.

Li Wuyang followed the Tracking Compass through the Sea of Falling Stars, lost Xuan after she sacrificed herself to stop the Taotie Demon Lord, and pursued a way to restore her. He reached the Reincarnation Well and found Xuan’s origin, but she told him to seek the Origin Starfire before returning.

• Li Wuyang entered the Sea of Falling Stars, rescued the Earth-Splitting Gauntlet from the Thousand Illusions Spider, and gained its protection for Earth Doll.
• Li Wuyang reached the Chaos Altar and negotiated an agreement with the Demon Lord, Demon Saint, Azure Dragon, and Sword Immortal to activate it together.
• Xuan sacrificed herself to drive off the Taotie Demon Lord as Li Wuyang and the others filled the altar’s pool and opened a passage.
• Li Wuyang left the others behind and entered the Taotie Demon Lord’s lair, where he found Xuan’s remaining spark and received her Annihilation Crystal and instructions to find the real her at the Eye of the Returning Void.
• Li Wuyang escaped through a spatial fissure, met Bao Bao in a fragment space, and was later rescued by Ai Xi in the Lost Realm.
• The Great Elder explained that Xuan had undergone Dao dissolution and that the Reincarnation Well might restore her, so Li Wuyang trained to control the Annihilation Crystal while Bao Bao awakened its Void Spirit Bloodline.
• Li Wuyang and Bao Bao entered the Eye of the Returning Void, endured its dangers, and found the Reincarnation Well, where Xuan told Li Wuyang to find the Origin Starfire and return.

Li Wuyang sought the Origin Starfire, survived the Eternal Furnace’s destruction and the Taotie Demon Lord’s attacks, and was reborn as a Chaos Dao Body fused with Xuan’s origin. After reaching the Myriad Worlds Star Sea, he gained a Star Core fragment whose resonance pointed toward the depths of the star sea.

• Li Wuyang followed clues from an iron fragment to the Origin Starfire and entered the Eternal Furnace, where its suction trapped him as the Nine-Headed Fire Phoenix attacked.
• Inside the Origin Starfire, Li Wuyang formed Chaos Origin and fused Xuan’s Annihilation imprint with the starfire, while the Taotie Demon Lord and the phoenix battered the furnace outside.
• Li Wuyang joined with the Eternal Furnace’s artifact spirit to stabilize it and escape through a spatial rift, but he and the furnace spirit nearly perished in the crossing.
• Bao Bao reached the Lost Realm, and the Great Elder recruited Aidera and Jiyun before they pursued Li Wuyang through the void as the Stomach of the Glutton’s ships closed in.
• The Great Elder, Aidera, Jiyun, and Bao Bao rescued the damaged furnace from Shadow Fiend’s ships, and Li Wuyang awakened enough to help resist the Taotie Demon Lord.
