Arc 3The Eye of the Returning Void

Li Wuyang followed the Tracking Compass through the Sea of Falling Stars, lost Xuan after she sacrificed herself to stop the Taotie Demon Lord, and pursued a way to restore her. He reached the Reincarnation Well and found Xuan’s origin, but she told him to seek the Origin Starfire before returning.

  • Li Wuyang entered the Sea of Falling Stars, rescued the Earth-Splitting Gauntlet from the Thousand Illusions Spider, and gained its protection for Earth Doll.
  • Li Wuyang reached the Chaos Altar and negotiated an agreement with the Demon Lord, Demon Saint, Azure Dragon, and Sword Immortal to activate it together.
  • Xuan sacrificed herself to drive off the Taotie Demon Lord as Li Wuyang and the others filled the altar’s pool and opened a passage.
  • Li Wuyang left the others behind and entered the Taotie Demon Lord’s lair, where he found Xuan’s remaining spark and received her Annihilation Crystal and instructions to find the real her at the Eye of the Returning Void.
  • Li Wuyang escaped through a spatial fissure, met Bao Bao in a fragment space, and was later rescued by Ai Xi in the Lost Realm.
  • The Great Elder explained that Xuan had undergone Dao dissolution and that the Reincarnation Well might restore her, so Li Wuyang trained to control the Annihilation Crystal while Bao Bao awakened its Void Spirit Bloodline.
  • Li Wuyang and Bao Bao entered the Eye of the Returning Void, endured its dangers, and found the Reincarnation Well, where Xuan told Li Wuyang to find the Origin Starfire and return.
Chapters 51–75 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 51First Steps into the Sea of Falling Stars, the Chaos Battlefield's Bizarre Aesthetic

Li Wuyang and the Qingyun Sect team entered the Sea of Falling Stars, where he discovered that his bronze compass pointed toward something far away. After Xuan instantly destroyed a powerful Chaos Beast, the group set off in the compass's direction.

  • Qingyunzi led the Qingyun Sect team through the stabilized passage into the Sea of Falling Stars alongside the groups from Hundred Herbs Valley and Tiangong Workshop.
  • Li Wuyang found that the bronze compass had stabilized and pointed toward a distant location, and Xuan confirmed its direction.
  • A Chaos Beast erupted from the ground and attacked the group, but Xuan destroyed it with a single touch.
  • Qingyunzi led the group onward in the direction indicated by the compass.

Ch. 52The Compass Points the Way, the Target Is... a Talking Shoe?

Following the Tracking Compass through the Sea of Falling Stars, Li Wuyang's group discovered a sentient boot named Tatian that promised information in exchange for rescuing its partner, the Earthsplitter glove. The group agreed to help, setting off with Tatian toward the Thousand Illusions Spider’s nest.

  • Xuan protected the group from the Sea of Falling Stars’ chaotic creatures as they followed the compass through strange regions.
  • The Tracking Compass led Li Wuyang and the others into a stone forest, where they found a talking boot lamenting its missing master.
  • Tatian explained that its master had vanished during an ancient battle, but refused to share more details with the group.
  • Tatian offered to provide information and guidance if the group rescued its partner, the Earthsplitter glove, from a Thousand Illusions Spider.
  • Li Wuyang accepted Tatian’s deal, and Xuan and Qingyunzi agreed to help.

Ch. 53Braving the Spider's Den: Was Saving a Glove Harder Than Saving a Princess?

Li Wuyang’s group reached the Thousand Illusions Spider’s nest to retrieve Earth-Splitting, but Xuan had to defeat the spider and dissolve its web after Li Wuyang’s attacks failed to free the glove. The Earth-Splitting Gauntlet then reacted to the Earth Doll and the Tracking Compass, suggesting the compass had led Li Wuyang to an earth-element Origin Power.

  • The Tatian Boot guided Qingyunzi, Li Wuyang, Xuan, and the others through the illusions and traps to the Thousand Illusions Spider’s cavern.
  • Li Wuyang resisted the spider’s mental assault, wounded it with Huang Ting Sword Qi, and failed to cut through the web holding Earth-Splitting.
  • Xuan struck the Thousand Illusions Spider with the Power of Annihilation, erasing it, then dissolved the web and freed the glove.
  • The Earth-Splitting Gauntlet broke away from the Tatian Boot and reacted to the Earth Doll as the Tracking Compass pointed directly at it.
  • Li Wuyang suspected the compass had been leading him to an earth-element Origin Power connected to the glove and the Earth Doll.

Ch. 54Earth-Splitting Gauntlet Acknowledged a Master? No, It Acknowledged a Son!

Li Wuyang rescued the Earth-Splitting Gauntlet, which sensed the Breathing Soil within Earth Doll and strengthened him before choosing Li Wuyang as its wearer. The group prepared to follow the Tracking Compass onward, though its destination remained unreached.

  • The Earth-Splitting Gauntlet sensed the Breathing Soil in Earth Doll and drew close to Li Wuyang.
  • Xuan explained that the gauntlet and Earth Doll shared an earth-origin aura, and Li Wuyang took the sleeping Earth Doll out of his personal space.
  • The Earth-Splitting Gauntlet infused Earth Doll with earth-element essence, strengthening his body and aura.
  • The gauntlet told Li Wuyang it would protect Earth Doll and pass on its inheritance after he awakened, then fitted itself onto Li Wuyang's right hand.
  • Li Wuyang tested the gauntlet's power while the Tatian Boot complained, and the group rested before following the Tracking Compass onward.

Ch. 55Chaos Market? Trading Integrity for Intelligence!

Li Wuyang and Xuan entered the Chaos Market, where they traded Xuan’s annihilation aura for clues about Li Wuyang’s missing companions and learned that the Earth-Splitting Gauntlet held a sought-after Heart of the Earth fragment. As they left the information stall, Li Wuyang saw an armored gang threatening a walking sunflower vendor and faced a choice about intervening.

  • Li Wuyang, Xuan, and the Tatian Boot entered the Chaos Market while Qingyunzi and the others stayed outside.
  • Li Wuyang offered a spirit stone for information, but the stall owner rejected it, so Xuan paid with a wisp of annihilation aura.
  • The gray-mist stall owner reported possible traces of Li Wuyang’s companions near Shattered Star Lake, Lava Rift Valley, and Illusory Light Forest, then gave directions after receiving more aura.
  • The stall owner warned Li Wuyang that the Stomach of the Glutton was searching for the Heart of the Earth fragment in his Earth-Splitting Gauntlet.
  • Li Wuyang saw armed humanoid creatures threaten a walking sunflower vendor for its Life Crystal and considered whether to intervene.

Ch. 56When You See Injustice, Settle It with Your Fists!

Li Wuyang used the Earth-Splitting Gauntlet to rescue a sunflower vendor from the Bone-Shattering Gang, earning a reputation in the Chaos Market and provoking the gang’s backers, the Stomach of the Glutton. After gathering information, he and his companions set out toward the compass’s destination, an ancient Chaos Altar rumored to reveal a way out of the Sea of Falling Stars.

  • Li Wuyang intervened when the Bone-Shattering Gang tried to rob a sunflower vendor and challenged the thugs to fight.
  • Li Wuyang defeated the gang with the Earth-Splitting Gauntlet while Xuan kept Qingyunzi and the others from interfering.
  • The one-eyed thug threatened Li Wuyang with retaliation from the Stomach of the Glutton, but Li Wuyang knocked him unconscious and took the gang’s valuables.
  • Li Wuyang’s reputation spread through the Chaos Market, where vendors warned him that the Stomach of the Glutton was a powerful, vindictive organization.
  • Li Wuyang gathered information about dangerous areas and set out with his companions toward an ancient Chaos Altar believed to be connected to escaping the Sea of Falling Stars.

Ch. 57Altar Mist, Rivals Appear!

Li Wuyang’s group reached the Chaos Altar, where four powerful factions gathered to compete for it. As the altar resonated with Li Wuyang’s Dao Imprint and drew the factions’ attention to his Earth-Splitting Gauntlet, he proposed they discuss how to divide the altar’s spoils.

  • Li Wuyang’s group followed the compass through dangerous spatial rifts and found the ancient, nine-tiered Chaos Altar.
  • The Demon Lord, the Demon Saint, the Azure Dragon, and a rogue cultivator sword immortal arrived with their followers and eyed one another warily.
  • Xuan explained that the Pool of Sacrifice atop the altar required a specific key and vast energy to activate.
  • The Demon Lord noticed the Heart of the Earth aura on Li Wuyang’s gauntlet and sensed a Dao resonance, causing all four factions to focus on Li Wuyang’s group.
  • Li Wuyang stood his ground and proposed that the gathered factions hold a meeting to discuss the altar’s equity distribution.

Ch. 58Four-Way Standoff, Li Wuyang's "Empty Fort Strategy"

Li Wuyang bluffed the Demon Saint, Demon Lord, Azure Dragon, and Sword Immortal into believing he knew how to activate the Chaos Altar, then proposed that they compete by offering treasures. Xuan judged that all four offerings could work, but none of them was enough.

  • Li Wuyang claimed he knew how to activate the Chaos Altar and used the Tracking Compass to make his bluff convincing.
  • Li Wuyang redirected the four factions' argument over who would go first into a proposal for a treasure offering contest.
  • The Demon Lord offered a Soul Devouring Pearl, the Demon Saint a Golden Crow Feather, the Azure Dragon a Profound Nether True Water Bead, and the Sword Immortal his essence blood.
  • Li Wuyang asked Xuan to assess the four offerings, and she said they would all work but were not enough.

Ch. 59Xuan's Judgment, the Conditions for Activating the Altar

Xuan explained that activating the Returning to Origin altar required the four origin powers of earth, water, fire, and wind as catalysts, along with vast Chaos Energy and the proper incantation. Li Wuyang proposed that the four powerhouses cooperate, leaving them to negotiate how to share the risks and benefits.

  • The Demon Saint, Demon Lord, Azure Dragon, and Sword Immortal questioned Xuan after he said their treasures were not enough to activate the altar.
  • Xuan explained that the treasures held extreme, single-attribute energies that could trigger the Chaos Laws and destroy the altar.
  • Xuan said the altar needed earth, water, fire, and wind origin powers, and Li Wuyang realized that his gauntlet, companions, and Profound Nether True Water might supply or imitate them.
  • Xuan added that the treasures could serve as catalysts, but they also needed vast Chaos Energy from the Sea of Falling Stars and the proper activation incantation.
  • Li Wuyang proposed a temporary mutual aid group, and the four powerhouses seriously considered cooperating as negotiations began.

Ch. 60A Difficult Negotiation, the Homecoming Group Is Formed

Li Wuyang, Xuan, and four powerful figures negotiated how to cooperate in activating the Chaos Altar and formed a Homecoming Group. With their agreement reached, preparations began, but the risks of the altar and the allies’ reliability remained uncertain.

  • The Demon Saint, Demon Lord, Azure Dragon, and Sword Immortal argued over who would lead the altar activation until Li Wuyang proposed a five-person leadership group with votes on major decisions.
  • Li Wuyang and Xuan negotiated priority places, securing one and a half spots while each powerful figure received one, with remaining places tied to energy contributions.
  • Xuan proposed a Chaos Contract and a formation requiring all five powerful figures and Li Wuyang to guide Chaos Energy together, and the group reluctantly agreed.
  • Xuan explained the activation procedure, while Li Wuyang kept the negotiations moving until the parties reached a Homecoming Group Cooperation Agreement.
  • Xuan began drawing the formation diagram as the four powerful figures prepared to guide energy, and Li Wuyang remained wary as the altar activation approached.

Ch. 61Return to Origin Activated, Taotie Ambush!

Li Wuyang and the others nearly filled the Chaos Altar’s Pool of Sacrifice when the Taotie Demon Lord ambushed them. Xuan sacrificed herself to repel it and complete the altar’s activation, leaving the return passage open as Li Wuyang grieved her apparent death.

  • Xuan completed the formation, and Li Wuyang, the Demon Saint, the Demon Lord, the Azure Dragon, and the Sword Immortal channeled their powers to fill the Pool of Sacrifice with Chaos Energy.
  • As the pool neared capacity, the Taotie Demon Lord and its Chaos demon generals attacked and tried to seize its energy.
  • Xuan blocked the Taotie Demon Lord’s devouring attack with her Power of Annihilation, but it then lunged at her.
  • Xuan burned her Source of Annihilation and detonated herself inside the Taotie Demon Lord’s mouth, driving it away and devastating its forces.
  • Li Wuyang and the others stabilized the formation, filled the pool, and opened a spatial passage, while Li Wuyang stared at the place where Xuan had vanished.

Ch. 62The Other End of the Passage: Hope or Despair?

After Xuan sacrificed herself to open the Return-to-Origin Passage, the others entered it while Li Wuyang stayed behind, unable to accept her loss. A signal from his Tracking Compass and Great Dao Imprint gave him hope that Xuan might still exist beyond Taotie Demon Lord’s spatial rift, so he pursued it as it closed.

  • The Demon Lord, Demon Saint, Azure Dragon, and Sword Immortal entered the passage despite Li Wuyang’s doubts about where it led.
  • Li Wuyang told Qingyunzi to take Earth Doll, Tatian Boot, the Earth-Splitting Gauntlet, and the Qingyun Sect disciples through the passage without him.
  • After the Qingyun Sect members left, Li Wuyang remained on the altar with Xuan’s jade slip as the passage began to close.
  • The Tracking Compass pointed toward Taotie Demon Lord’s shrinking spatial rift, and the Great Dao Imprint pulsed from beyond it.
  • Believing Xuan might still be alive, Li Wuyang charged into the rift, which closed behind him.

Ch. 63Deep in Chaos, the Lair of the Stomach of the Glutton

Li Wuyang crossed the chaotic void and reached the Stomach of the Glutton, where he infiltrated its lair in search of Xuan. He followed the compass and the Great Dao Imprint into the stronghold’s labyrinth, still unsure whether Xuan was alive.

  • Li Wuyang endured the chaotic void’s storms and creatures while following the bronze compass toward the Great Dao Imprint’s resonance.
  • Li Wuyang found the Stomach of the Glutton, a guarded stronghold shaped like a gigantic stomach, and sensed Xuan’s Source of Annihilation within it.
  • Li Wuyang imitated the chaotic aura of the lair’s creatures using the Huang Ting Jing and the Great Dao Imprint.
  • Li Wuyang slipped in with a returning patrol after the entrance’s energy scan failed to identify him.
  • Li Wuyang navigated the lair’s maze of distorted energy and devouring traps, following the compass toward its depths.

Ch. 64Core Prison, Xuan's Remnant Soul?

Li Wuyang broke into the Taotie Demon Lord’s core and discovered that Xuan’s faint remnant was being refined. After confronting the demon lord, he received a crystal of Xuan’s origin and her message to find the Eye of the Returning Void before escaping.

  • Li Wuyang found the guarded spherical space at the Taotie Demon Lord’s core and slipped inside when an energy surge drew two guards away.
  • Li Wuyang discovered Xuan’s remaining spark of annihilation bound in a Chaos vortex as the Taotie Demon Lord tried to devour it.
  • Li Wuyang attacked the Taotie Demon Lord, and a trace of Primordial Dao Rhyme weakened the demon lord’s blow.
  • Xuan sent a crystal of her origin into Li Wuyang and urged him to take it to the Eye of the Returning Void to find the real her.
  • Li Wuyang escaped through the energy membrane as the enraged Taotie Demon Lord drove the vortex to devour him.

Ch. 65A Desperate Chase, Hope Amid Despair

Li Wuyang escaped the Taotie Demon Lord by being swept through a spatial fissure into a ruined hall in a fragment of chaotic space. He resolved to recover and find the Eye of the Returning Void, which might hold the key to Xuan's revival.

  • Li Wuyang fled through the Stomach of the Glutton as Xuan's will in the Annihilation Crystal guided him around dangers.
  • Li Wuyang chose a narrow, unstable passage over a tempting route and was struck by the Taotie Demon Lord into a spatial fissure.
  • The Taotie Demon Lord failed to retrieve Li Wuyang before the fissure closed.
  • Li Wuyang landed in a ruined stone hall, badly injured but beyond the Taotie Demon Lord's reach.
  • Li Wuyang realized Xuan might not truly be dead and began recovering while determined to seek the Eye of the Returning Void.

Ch. 66Fragments Rest, an Unexpected "Neighbor"

Li Wuyang recovered from his injuries in an isolated fragment space and met a timid jellyfish-like creature trapped there with him. The creature knew the Eye of the Returning Void was dangerous but could not help him reach it or escape, so Li Wuyang planned to restore his strength and keep searching.

  • Li Wuyang used the Annihilation Crystal and the Huang Ting Jing to stabilize his injuries and recover to the middle stage of Spirit Refinement and Void Return.
  • Li Wuyang examined the ruined hall and realized the fragment space had no apparent exit.
  • A translucent jellyfish-like creature emerged from the shadows and cautiously identified Li Wuyang as a new neighbor.
  • Li Wuyang learned that the creature was also trapped and that it had heard the Eye of the Returning Void was a terrifying place its mother had warned it to avoid.
  • Li Wuyang and the jellyfish exchanged stories about their worlds and the fragment space, and he decided to recover fully before searching for a way out.

Ch. 67Spatial Ripples, an Opportunity to Leave?

Li Wuyang escaped the fragment space by riding a spatial ripple through the Chaos Void. He emerged in an unfamiliar region and set out to find information about the Eye of the Returning Void and the real Xuan.

  • Bao Bao told Li Wuyang that spatial ripples could briefly connect the fragment space to the outside and sensed one might soon appear above the hall.
  • When a ripple opened in the dome, Li Wuyang used the Huang Ting Jing and Annihilation Crystal to shield himself and launched into it, bidding Bao Bao farewell.
  • Li Wuyang endured the spatial storm and emerged in a tranquil region of the Chaos Void, escaping the fragment space.
  • Li Wuyang found that the Tracking Compass no longer guided him to Xuan and decided to seek a settlement or intelligent lifeforms for clues about the Eye of the Returning Void.
  • Li Wuyang confirmed his cultivation had stabilized at the middle stage of Spirit Refinement and Void Return, then set off to find the Eye and the real Xuan.

Ch. 68Resonance in Desperation, the Rampage of the Source of Annihilation

Li Wuyang struggled to control the rampaging Source of Annihilation Crystal while searching the chaotic void, and its power drew a trio of Chaos Demon Race attackers. After Xuan’s lingering will briefly took over and saved him, Li Wuyang faced the arrival of an even more dangerous pursuer from the Stomach of the Glutton.

  • Li Wuyang’s Annihilation Crystal destabilized, eroding his body and consciousness as he tried to suppress it with the Huang Ting Jing.
  • Three Chaos Demon Race members attacked Li Wuyang, and he used the Power of Annihilation to destroy two of them with Annihilation Double Punch.
  • The demon leader thrust its bone spear at Li Wuyang, but Xuan’s lingering will awakened through the crystal and erased the attacker with Annihilation Returning Void Finger.
  • Li Wuyang collapsed after the attack, realizing he still needed to control the crystal or find the Eye of the Returning Void.
  • A powerful pursuer from the Stomach of the Glutton rushed toward Li Wuyang, making the Annihilation Crystal stir again.

Ch. 69Demonic Whale Devours Heaven, a Fight to the Death! Annihilation Versus Devouring!

Li Wuyang fought off a half-step Quasi-Sage Demonic Whale by combining the Annihilation Crystal, his Huang Ting Jing true qi, and earth essence, but collapsed from the backlash. The Huang Ting Jing jade slip protected him from the whale’s final strike and drove it away, and he lost consciousness after noticing a familiar ripple in the distance.

  • The Demonic Whale attacked Li Wuyang, drawn by the Source of Annihilation within him, and tried to swallow him.
  • Li Wuyang fused the Annihilation Crystal’s power, Huang Ting Jing true qi, and earth essence into a strike that wounded the whale but left him severely injured.
  • The Demonic Whale raised its tail to crush Li Wuyang, but the Huang Ting Jing jade slip emerged and shielded him with a purple light curtain.
  • The jade slip’s Dao aura burned the whale’s scales and dispersed its demonic qi, frightening it into fleeing.
  • Li Wuyang watched the jade slip return to him, then lost consciousness after seeing a faint, familiar ripple in the distance.

Ch. 70Mysterious Aid, an Old Acquaintance? Bao Bao's Arrival

Li Wuyang woke in the Lost Realm after Ai Xi rescued him from the chaotic void, and reunited with Bao Bao. He learned that reaching the Eye of the Returning Void might offer a chance to revive Xuan, but first he needed to recover and control the Annihilation Crystal while awaiting the Great Elder.

  • Li Wuyang awoke in a stone chamber with severe injuries and found Bao Bao beside him.
  • Ai Xi introduced herself as a guardian of the Lost Realm and explained that she had rescued Li Wuyang and Bao Bao from spatial fragments.
  • Li Wuyang asked Ai Xi about the Eye of the Returning Void and revealed that he sought a way to revive someone.
  • Ai Xi explained that the Eye appeared unpredictably, required a special guide, and might be drawn to Li Wuyang's Source of Annihilation if he learned to control it.
  • Ai Xi told Li Wuyang to recover in the Lost Realm and said the Great Elder might know more after emerging from seclusion.
  • Bao Bao comforted Li Wuyang, who resolved to heal and master the Annihilation Crystal before pursuing the Eye of the Returning Void.

Ch. 71Secrets of the Lost Realm, the Great Elder's Warning

After recovering in the Lost Realm, Li Wuyang learned that reaching the Eye of the Returning Void and resurrecting Xuan would be nearly impossible. The Great Elder revealed that Bao Bao possessed a faint Void Spirit Bloodline, giving Li Wuyang a possible guide, and he resolved to go despite the near-certain danger.

  • Li Wuyang recovered, stabilized his cultivation, and found that stillness helped him soothe the Annihilation Crystal.
  • Ai Xi brought Li Wuyang to meet the Great Elder, who explained that Xuan had undergone Dao dissolution and that the Reincarnation Well might offer a slim chance to restore her.
  • The Great Elder said Li Wuyang needed to control the Source of Annihilation and find a Void Spirit to navigate the path to the Eye of the Returning Void.
  • Bao Bao revealed that it could faintly sense trails of ending, and the Great Elder discovered it carried a trace of Void Spirit Bloodline.
  • The Great Elder warned Li Wuyang that the journey could mean certain death, but Li Wuyang declared that he would go.

Ch. 72Bloodline Awakening, Bao Bao's Mission and Growth

Li Wuyang and the Great Elder awakened Bao Bao’s dormant Void Spirit Bloodline with the Ancient Spirit Awakening Array, giving Bao Bao the ability to sense paths of ending. Li Wuyang continued preparing to find the Eye of the Returning Void as turmoil persisted in the chaos.

  • The Great Elder explained that awakening Bao Bao’s thin Void Spirit Bloodline could help guide Li Wuyang through the void turbulence, but warned that the process could harm Bao Bao.
  • Bao Bao chose to help Li Wuyang, and Li Wuyang promised not to abandon it as they agreed to face the danger together.
  • The Great Elder used the Ancient Spirit Awakening Array and Li Wuyang’s Source of Annihilation aura to awaken Bao Bao’s bloodline.
  • As Bao Bao endured the painful awakening, Li Wuyang used the Huang Ting Jing to soothe it, and Bao Bao emerged larger, at the Celestial Immortal level, and able to sense paths of ending.
  • Li Wuyang trained to control the Annihilation Crystal while Bao Bao adapted to its new ability, and Ai Xi reported that the Stomach of the Glutton had temporarily withdrawn after the Heaven-Devouring Demonic Whale was severely injured.

Ch. 73Mastering Annihilation, Becoming One with the Dao, At Last Beholding the Returning Void!

Li Wuyang mastered initial control of the Source of Annihilation and learned that it might contain the seed of rebirth, strengthening Xuan’s trace within the crystal. After preparing for the Returning Void Tide, he and Bao Bao entered a passage to the Eye of the Returning Void, where they arrived at the vortex entrance.

  • Li Wuyang synchronized his consciousness with the Annihilation Crystal, touched its singularity, and gained initial control of the Source of Annihilation.
  • The Great Elder and Ai Xi praised Li Wuyang, and Bao Bao sensed that the path to the end had grown clearer.
  • The Great Elder said the Returning Void Tide would surge in three days and warned Li Wuyang and Bao Bao that their journey could prove fatal.
  • Li Wuyang prepared with the Great Elder’s jade talismans and Ai Xi’s recovery pills and star map.
  • The Great Elder opened a temporary passage, and Li Wuyang carried Bao Bao through it into the chaotic void.
  • Li Wuyang and Bao Bao saw the dark vortex entrance to the Eye of the Returning Void, their destination in the search for a way to revive Xuan.

Ch. 74Into the Forbidden Zone: A Race for Life and Death Through the Void Turbulence

Li Wuyang and Bao Bao raced through the unstable entrance to the Eye of the Returning Void, surviving a deadly spatial rift and an ambush by a Void Shadow Demon. Li Wuyang entered the Eye and found himself in a place of complete stillness and void.

  • Bao Bao warned Li Wuyang that the entrance was unstable, and Li Wuyang charged toward it while shielding himself with the Power of Annihilation.
  • Bao Bao guided Li Wuyang through the void currents, and they plunged through a vast rift of absolute nothingness with the help of a life-saving jade talisman.
  • A hidden creature ambushed Li Wuyang as he neared the rift's far side, and its black ray pierced his defenses and wounded him.
  • Li Wuyang escaped the rift and entered the Eye of the Returning Void as Bao Bao identified the attacker as a Void Shadow Demon.
  • Li Wuyang and Bao Bao endured the Eye's immense pressure, and Li Wuyang crashed onto hard ground inside a motionless void.

Ch. 75Reincarnation Well Shadow, the Faint Call of Xuan's Origin
