Strange Stone Stele

The earth seemed to have been hammered by an invisible giant mallet, a dull boom tearing through the abyss's deathly silence. Amid flying shards of rock, a grotesque demon beast burst fiercely from the ground!

Its massive body resembled a giant crocodile clad in heavy black-iron armor, its length of over thirty feet carrying an oppressive weight.

Its short yet exceptionally thick limbs supported a body covered in continuous patches of pitch-black scales. Each scale seemed condensed from the deepest night itself, its edges razor-sharp and glinting with a cold, hard sheen in the dim light.

Before the crocodile-shaped giant demon could fully unleash its ferocious aura after bursting from the earth, a sudden change descended in the blink of an eye!

An icy chill abruptly erupted from within its body without warning!

Countless tiny Ice Crystals, glimmering with a ghostly blue light, condensed out of thin air. Like living creatures, they instantly crawled across the demon beast's enormous body at a speed faster than the eye could follow.

From the ends of its sturdy limbs to its heavily scaled back, the Ice Crystals spread, intertwined, and thickened madly, producing sharp cracking sounds that made one's teeth ache.

The entire process was as swift as though time had frozen for an instant. In less than a single breath, the giant demon, which had been brimming with savage might a moment ago, had become a massive ice sculpture frozen in a pouncing stance!
